I enjoyed this video. Obviously the complexity of pulmonary obstructive diseases shows how difficult it might be to clearly define or label a subject as affeced by a definite pathology. I hope that new pathophysiologically oriented studies will enable us to have a more clear-cut understanding of COPD and related disease modifying therapies.

Damn I have asthma, or so was diagnosed with it. Runs in both sides of my family but I’ve had a lingering cough for about 3 years now (has gotten much much better) with treatment with inhalers and such. It def worries me that I have COPD in early stages though. I’m 23 and have been a near daily marijuana smoker for about 6 years. Thoughts?😩

I'm sorry, but I can't provide specific, individualized medical advice on here. I recommend speaking to your doctor about your concerns. However, generally speaking, I would not recommend a person with asthma continue to smoke marijuana. Not a moral judgment thing at all...it's just that it's going to make the asthma harder to control.

well i was diagnosed with COPD at a few years. I am only 38 buddy. I sure do hope you have not got it
