It's unbelievable how accurate they made the characters. It's exactly like what the cpmic book characters would look if they were human.

Since the times when I was little I always loved to read Asterix & Obelix. I remember that certain day when my parent brought a VHS with him, with this movie. Only the beginning of the movie with this music, made me love it already, and so the entire film. Still today, is the one and only Asterix & Obelix live action movie I like.

@@cathycharmensat8706 Yeah. I've seen them all, even the cartoon ones. Yet my favorite is this one. The rustic looking on the clothing, the Ambience all around and the acting seems really well done, not to mention the actors and counterparts seem very close. Specially Caesar himself. I saw the trailer for the new Live Action and eh.... Without Gerard Dipardieu is not the same.

Every time I listen to this masterpiece, it gives me a strange feeling, my childhood days

People who were acting there sure had a great time :D

I am completely addicted to this music. Especially the first 3 minutes or so. The music (as well as great acting) definiely made this movie the masterpiece it still is today. Thank you for posting. I listen to it almost every day when I'm working.

Maciej Bud i don’t know if a english dubbing exists, because this movie uses a french humor « décalé et second degré » of the time, absurd ans with a lot of french celeberities, me and a lot of french think that asterix and obelix mission cleopatre is one of the best comedy of all time, and it was one of the best succes of all time in France with 15 millions people in theaters, i’m sure there is an english version you can find

@@silvanfrancois6964 oui. Un gaulois est un celte. Un celte est un chrétien Un gallo-romain est un chrétien. Un français (gallo-romain mitigé germain) est un chrétien. Les trois sont blancs. Les trois furent évangélisés. Aucune place en Gaule, même francisé pour le non-chrétien et le non-blanc, question de bon sens.

Un congolais n'est pas noir forcement donc, vous leur poserez la question, un japonais n'a pas un crâne de mongoloïde, essayez de vous prétendre japonais sans parents et ancêtres japonais. Très bien. Cela dit les Afrikaneers sont blancs et étaient chez eux en Afrique vous me rétorquerez.. Je vous accorde que nombreux furent les valeureux combattants Mamelouks, ashanti, aztèques, samouraïs etc, chevaliers. Mais ils ne partageaient pas les mêmes origines et le revendiquaient. C'est un fait. Well, I personaly know next to nothing about Breton music, but this is what wikipedia says about it: "Tri Martolod ("Three sailors" in Breton) or Tri Martolod Yaouank ("Three young sailors"), is a traditional Breton song which dates to the 18th century in Lower Brittany. It was made famous by the interpretation, the arrangement and the recordings made by the Breton harpist Alan Stivell, in the 1970s." What was released in 2010 was Nolwenn Leroys version of this song.
