Probably yes, we also have a kit with the very old retro that is painted in the A321. Our goal is to have a shelf with all LH liveries.

Not cleaning the paint off the seams before gluing wing and fuselage halves together? What kind of glue are you using? Will any liquid cement work like that?

Haven't had any problems with the color as the glue dissolves the color. We are using Revell Contacta Professional

Sure mate! The next model will be either a Fokker 100 or an A350, not sure yet. But we have plenty of models in the pipe :)

Ein wunderschönes Modell! Welchen Airbrush benutzt du? Ich habe bisher die Druckluftdosen von revell benutzt, allerdings funktionieren die sehr schlecht…

Dankeschön! Ein Airbrush System mit Kompressor kann ich sehr empfehlen. Dieses Modell habe ich mit einer 10€ Airbrush von Conrad gebaut, die es allerdings nicht mehr gibt. Inzwischen nutze ich die Harder und Steenbeck Ultra. Als Kompressor hab ich den Fengda FD-186. Einen großen Einfluss auf das Airbrush Ergebnis haben aber auch die Farben, habe früher nur Revell Aqua genutzt aber die kann man eigentlich gar nicht schön glänzend und glatt lackieren.

Ganz großes Kino! Mein absolutes Lieblingsflugzeug 😍 wo kann ich sie in Auftrag geben?😂 tolle Arbeit!

Vielen Dank! Die Innenseite bemalen wir schwarz damit Tageslicht nicht durchschimmern kann. Wenn man die Innenseite weiß lässt wirkt der Flieger "künstlicher".

@@greatlakesproductions Kein Problem, jeder fängt doch mal an :) Die YT war der erste Flieger den wir grundiert haben, alle anderen Modelle (diverse A320, A350, 747, 777) haben wir ohne Grundierung direkt weiß lackiert. Vorteil der Grundierung ist, dass man evtl Unebenheiten besser sieht, die Flieger sehen aber auch ohne ganz gut aus :) Ist also kein Muss für den Anfang, haben auch viele Modelle ohne Grundierung. Falls du noch mehr Fragen hast einfach melden :)

Nope. The kit only includes the model. You have to buy glue, colors and tools seperately

Thanks a lot! Cost depends a lot on the amount of Detail and realism you want to achive. You could just leave the white plastic as the fuselage color for a new LH livery for example and just paint the blue on the tail. It'll turn out cheap but of course you will see the joint of the two fuselage halves and the glue and plastic turn yellow over time. Here a list of what we would consider as the basic equipment: - Colors: each about 3€ and you need 5-10 different tones, depending on the model: 15-30€ If you use Revell Aqua color you can use water to thin the color, otherwise you'll need a thinner that costs about 10€. - Glue: We like the Revell Contacta Professional, about 4€ - Putty: we started with Revell Putty (5€) but now moved to Mr White putty (4€), its sold out everywhere however... - Sanding paper, we buy that at our local hardware store and they cost about 1€ per sheet. We have 320, 480 and 600 grid papers. - Brushes: When painting small Details, a fine brush can be helpful. You don't need brushes from a modelling company, you probably have some laying around. - Boxcutter: You probably have one laying around too. - Masking Tape: We use Tamiya tape but Revell's tape is good too. They vary in width and cost between 2 and 5€. - Model: Depending on the aircraft between 10 and 40€ - Airbrush: You could brush the big surfaces but spraying them will look way better. There is a starter kit for around 40€ from Revell which we used to paint our first model. It uses a gas bottle however that has to be replaced quite frequently. If you don't know whether you want to build more models that one is a good choice but if you want to build more models an airbrushing set with a compressor will be a good investment.

The easiest way probably is to buy decals and dont try to paint the livery

Only cockpit and window clear parts. No Cabin interior. There was a Revell A380 a few years ago that had a full cabin and big clear part on one side of the aircraft to make the cabin visible.

Good question, pure working time maybe 50 hours, plus drying and curing time, in total we worked about 6 weeks on the model

The aircraft is painted black on the inside to prevent light shining through the model when it is standing in the sun for example. The windows are glued in to give the decals more support that they don't fall in the window holes.

@@xxlbaggy wir können auch Deutsch schreiben. Ich weiß ja nicht welche Videos du sonst guckst, aber wir finden sie hat eine ähnliche Lautstärke wie der Rest. Machen sie im editing auch nicht extra laut oder so, können sie aber in Zukunft leiser stellen. Dir wäre es lieber mit original ton und in normaler Geschwindigkeit?

@@AileronVideos ja wäre mir wirklich lieber, weil man dann "Ruhe" hat genau zu zuschauen, was Du da so "bastelst". Eine Mischung is ja auch ok. Aber ich bin auch nicht alle - aber ein Mundschutz wäre echt richtig wichtig. Ich habe mir mal meine ganzen Nasenschleimhäute beim Bonner HBF versaut. Das gute Lösungsmittel im Klebstoff ist ein guter Krebsförderer. Und im Lack noch mehr, das erlebt man dann 15 Jahre später....

@@maxjfr5188 Wenn sie auf Wasserbasis sind ist doch gut - ansonsten schreibt der Urologe halt irgendwann eine Rechnung. Komisch ist halt, das selbst Revell bei dem Produkt Aqua vor dem Einatmen warnt. ☝
