Hi guys , second video of the month . Hope you like it . It was a very fun projet that I wanted to do from a long time , especially with these flaps and slats which makes the model ever better to look .
The kit is from Zvezda . Truly the best brand . BUY THIS KIT AND DON’T BUY THE REVELL ONE !! Even if the flight deck isn’t supply in the kit , the quality of the plastic and the mold shape is just far far better . But you also should buy other decal set , Zvezda decals are really bad
Speaking of the decals , registration and little details are homemade decals
For those who wonder the slats and flaps kit comme from LACI-ltd.uk
Top quality , detailed instruction , perfect fit . They also make tones of engines with reverse opens . Yeah definitely think of buying one of this !

Excellent video 👍
Should have wet sanded that whole kit before putting primer or paint anywhere near it to remove that rough texture then used a proper leveling primer then wet sanded again. That texture ruins a high gloss finish no matter what it is.

Spoilers would have made an amazing landing configuration.
I got the Revell Boeing 747 8 intercontinental and its 60% complete now Im still working on it

Question? Does the glue work well on the main parts that have been painted? Glue being applied over paint. Thanks!

Not really , the better option is to remove the paint so the glue will be stronger . However sometimes it is impossible , that why I’m using ciano glue

What kind of glue did you use to attach the resin flaps and slats???

I used « cyanolite glue » , you can find it in any hardware store

Thank 👍! Yeah , if you want to do an 747-8 definitely choose the Zvezda kit , plastic , mold and engineering is just superior to Revell’s kit . The down side is that there is no cockpit and the decals are really bad
I have a qwestion does it have included paints

In this kit , there is the sprues btw , decals and instructions . No paint , glue or any other supplies

B747s DO NOT have leading edge Slat they have Krueger Flaps
