This made me think of Cassandra having to watch her father, mother, brother, Barnabas and her friends die from old age, the fall of Sparta and the ancient greek world slowly crumble to nothing and she remained, alive and watching the world evolve and forget.

Not to mention Rome, which lifted so many ideas about culture and of course the manner of the Gods from her world. I imagine she would have spent quite a bit of time there, and witnessed its downfall. I also have a hard time imagining she didn't have one or two 'families' in the interim.

@@sepnyte9422 oh I’m well aware of that. But like many other “immortal” characters in fiction, I have a hard time imagining her not settling down at least once or twice until the present. Finding artifacts and listening to the voice of a goddess in your head for literal thousands of years would drive someone insane or make them terribly lonely, as she’s represented here in her interactions with Eivor. Kassandra is very human, and like many Greek demi gods would likely have had more then one child, to alleviate the boredom if nothing else. She could stay for a bit and vanish when necessary, so as the question of why she never ages doesn’t appear. Personally I just want more Kassandra descendants in future games XD With Kassandra making an appearance here and there for good measure.

Clever. Back when Valhalla released everyone said Randvi looked like Kassandra and thought she might have actually been Kassandra. And then they use that bit in this arc. Pretty funny.

"I prefer a spear", she literally made her wood stick to copy the tip of the broken leonidas spear, respect.

This was just. SO cool, my goodness. Kassandra's reveal with the Odyssey music, the fight scene, watching them interact and fight together using their own combat styles, the link to the artifacts, just awesome. Really hope we see more of Kassandra, she's a cracking character.

the way Kassandra fights in first fight with Eivor, reminds me of the Achilles fight scenes in Troy. The swift dodges, confident look, and the fighting with a hand behind the back. It's like a beautiful dancing!! Shout out to game designer.

Idk if its my martial arts background kicking in but you can really tell they wanted to keep her old grecian fighting style as well. When she was using the axe she was using it more as a pole arm than an axe. She barely used the head of the axe and instead focused on using the entire handle for blocks and strikes like one would do with a halberd or the like.

Actually thought about it and realized that, Kassandra has not been wondering for centuries at this point, it has been a millennia.......over a thousand years has past since Odyssey and still she is hunting for artifacts....

@kevin luna the thing is that ubisoft released official statistics showing over 2 thirds played as alexios. So this isn't really fan service, so much as it's sticking the finger up at most odyssey players.

We're missing someone. Someone to teach Eivor and Kassandra about the ancient writing, from the Old Kingdom.

the story of Valhalla would seriously be so much farther along if Eivor didn't act dazed and clueless every single time he see's something Isu, especially after his Vinland comments

@@TimTheEnchanter0 Still doesn't make sense because he is Isu, he is Odin reincarnated into a mortal form who we know was Isu. Sigurd clearly understood it and so did Basim. Being Norse doesn't really have anything to do with it I think it's just an excuse to compensate for bad writing I mean he is aware of the Isu technology from the main story and in the DLC he is clueless like the wiped his memory of everything that happens in the main story. Also, he admitted he questioned the existence of gods and Valhalla and the end of the main story and they completely disregarded that in both DLC's. All of Eivor's Isu awareness and personal growth was completely forgotten about. Not to mention he touched a Apple of Eden twice once in Vinland and then in the new content.....nothing happens when he's literally a reincarnated Isu. Just bad writing. Kassandra being there doesn't make sense either because she's not carrying the staff to keep her alive. Was pointless bringing her in especially for people who played as Alexois.

Imagine the assassin trio game (Kassandra=Wonder Woman) (Bayek=Batman) (Evior=Superman) Just kidding, but imagine seeing them three together in one game, that would be so epic

I don't pay attention to the updates so it was a nice surprise to revisit AC Valhalla after almost a year and to see Kassandra in a quest. The feels were strong, especially how it ended 🥰

Not gonna lie was supprised kassandra didnt make an appearance in the main story but they did give her some screen time with the crossover also i Like the fact that u clearly see the difference in skills between eivor and kassandra Like I Like eivor badass viking but kassandra is basicaly an immortal being from ancient greek so of course she is more skilled than him but still they put up a good fight Edit: also i laugh my ass when i Saw that they use the skills attack from both game during their fight XD

the fight scene was quite impressive, no QTE to ruin the depth of the cinematic fight.

Man, that ending really got me when I first played it.

I wonder how Kassandra felt hearing someone speak Greek again who wasn't her, she said she's been traveling for a while so I can imagine she heard so many different languages. Also, why'd they bring Pheobe into this??? :(

Men, Eivor pretending to be the serious guy infront of Kassandra while she acting sarcastic is funny. Eivor is like a kid in front of her but she doesn't feels the need to say anything. Because they already are world apart. Kassandra has seen so many things, it doesn't matter what she sees anymore.

Love this sudden crossover! I hope they put Kassandra throughout the Timeline in the next game(s). The only thing that is weird is she didn’t miss the Ringfinger. I thought Leonardo corrected the old Hidden Blade or am I wrong?

If you read the Codex pages in AC2, Altair actually realized that the missing finger actually revealed themselves to their enemies. So he ended up modifying the hidden blades to no longer require that.

The missing finger is a ceremony for initiates of the assassins meant to honor Bayek of Siwa (who lost the finger by misstake), who they were honoring got lost over time but the ceremony remained. Since neither Eivor or Kassandra fully "joined" the brotherhood but still acquired the hidden blade they kept the finger naturally. Only later in time did Leonardo correct the desing flaw that could cause people to accidentally cut the finger off by misstake.

you can see that Kassandra still suffers. When she found a statue of an Eagle, it Reminds her of her own Eagle, back when she was roaming through Greece, in search for her Brother. Also when she mentioned Marcos and Eivor asked who he is, you can see that she got sad, because she remembers that Marcos had died roughly a Millenia ago, along with her entire Family and Friends. She was really living a miserable existence, only a Fight here and a Artifact Hunt there, serves her as a small distraction.

Awesome gameplay

To be honest, everyone was expecting this kind of Kassandra's "cameos" in other AC stories since we find out how long she actually lived. I mean, if you think about it when we were playing the first AC with Altair, then Ezio's trilogy, then AC 3, Balckflag, Unity, Syndicate and so on Kassandra was walking somewhere else. For all we know, while Altair was facing his mentor Al-Mualim or Ezio dealing with the Brogia family in Rome, Kassandra was looking for Pieces of Eden in Siberia or in a deep jungle in Africa.

I was sceptical about if they will use the same voice of Kassandra, and they did that's what makes Kassandra, the Kassandra

The thing about Valka saying it was Randvi, all Eivor had to do was walk into the long house and see if she was still in there and question her lol

No a good move would have been if Kassandra is a Hidden One including Outfit and acts more wise.. But Ubisoft gives a shit about Assassins or anything that makes you feel like playing an Assassins Creed Game

"Edyt" voice actor is the same one for "Sera" in Dragon age inquisition....thats awesome

This means she was around al tair’s time, Ezio’s time, Edward KennwAy’s time Connor kennwAy’s time, Shay Patrick Cormac’s time , Connor KennwAy’s time, Arno dorian’s time, and Jacob And Evie Frye’s time. They should crossover all the other assassins creed games with Odyssey and this means she was in the background for every major assassins creed game that has come before and after assassin’s creed odyssey

Ubi may use this story to answer why Kassandra and Randvi have similar character model. As someone, who plays AC Odyssey as Kassandra, I never comfortable seeing Randvi in Valhalla. To me, she is Kasandra, but why she has different personality and voice. The less I see Randvi the better. Ubi is doing a good thing with the fighting intro scene. Watching two of my favorite AC protagonists fights is very interesting.

Lets be honest, Kassandra was kicking Eivor's ass, and it actually makes sense. Eivor was born an adventurer, and made into a warrior. Kassandra is a Spartan born and bred for war. Not to mention she's been around much, MUCH longer than my boy.

Assassins creed Valhalla crossing over with Odyssey, Kassandra teaming up with Eivor, and the apple of Eden!!!

May I ask What's the Blue color armor that your Eivor wear ?

They should have used the old fighting bits from kassandra For one of the bosses in the main story, the use the basis of bayeks fighting style with a sceptre. It would carry more weight if we got to see there old fighting style of her in the game
