I love how this trailers shows the Assassins as tactical as well as badass. They go in with a ground team and a roof team. Ground to lead the charge, prioritising dangerous targets and inspiring the citizens to fight harder. Roof team to bring down the gate, provide ranged support and locate the general. And once they locate the general as well as turn the tide in the courtyard battle, both teams switch without even needing to signal each other. Roof team becomes ground team to take out the general's guards and ground team becomes roof team to provide backup from any surprises, like a giant pile of gunpowder.

That's exactly how the multiplayer felt like I will never forget that cool synergy I had with one random player where I was his sniper overwatch while he was carrying a halberd He would go through the streets while I would hop roof to roof making sure to handle any stragglers or snipers against him while he does the objectives

UNION bruh, odyssey was a garbage, i got Like 400 hours on it and i can tell u that the story is pretty simple and shitty, side quests are repetitive Like nothing and even the map is repetitive (camps, forts..). The only thing i Like about it is the history behind the game, if they didn’t call it AC, then it would be better

Both practiced parkour..both seen the toughness of pulling out own weight..but once the craft has been perfected we sit on the top of a building reminiscing. We move like the assassin's we wanted but have different ideals.its beautiful to see how much a video motivated us

looking back now, ac unity is probably the most underrated game in the series thanks to the buggy launch. it got the best assasination missions, best customization, best aesthetic, best parkour, and the coop missions are genuinely fun as hell with friends especially the heists

I think the reason Unity’s story was lackluster because Arno was mostly focused on Elise. He deserves a sequel where he shows more growth as an assassin and not held back by his love for Elise

This is why Assassin's Creed is the top series of all time beating Mass Effect and Witcher.

Anima Vestra because of how invested we as fans are in the franchise. Honestly it is one of the best AC trailers, if not the best, for its pacing of audio and visuals, plus capturing the feel of the Assassin Brotherhood. Actually, I'm playing Unity right now, trying to plat trophy it, and playing this song during it sent fucking chills down my spine.

I totally agree their CGI has been incredible since AC 3, but I guess it would cost a lot of money

This was so clearly the peak of the AC Franchise. Look how we've fallen now

A decade later and this trailer still goes unimaginably hard

It’s sad that the game had such a bad release because it is honestly one of the best AC games ever. So much amazing innovation in this game with such an amazing story. I hope we get. a remaster some day with functioning co op to show people how great it is

2023 cameback just to remember how beautiful the harmony between the assasins, music and the plot....no other AC trailer aspire made me to be an assasin like this one

these trailers... I always come back to these... twice a year if not three times..... I LOVE the assassins creed series.

There’s so much musical and animation synchronization going in here: “Right will find you”, “holding hands”, tumbling down”, “I’ll be right behind you”, “almost made it”, and “had to faded”. This is why (I’m my opinion) is the best gaming trailer of all time!!!!

The same happened with valhala. “They kill blindly” - shows the opposite. “Godless barbarians” shows statue of Tyr, “Will never love or protect these lands” shows the viking building the settlement etc..

The Bastille was stormed in order to obtain gun powder. That's why in the last scene you see them put out the igniter. They weren't there to kill them. They were there to help the revolutionaries obtain the black powder so that they could be armed. At this point in the French Revolution the revolutionaries had a bunch of guns put no powder and ammunition.

I remember being really hyped for the game even though my mom couldn’t afford to by the ps4 and my pc couldn’t even launch ac4 without coughing blood, I rewatched this trailer over and over again

As far as I know, Digic Pictures was responsible for the trailer. They do a lot of stuff for Ubisoft tho, and they are incredible! Just look for their channel here on YT :)

Really wish the game was more focused on the French Revolution and less on the love theme. I was so excited because of the perfect concept and setting, French Revolution was so perfect for an Assassin's Creed game. Missed opportunity I guess.

@@cj131It did but sadly it wasn't the vocal point of the main story which is why I prefer to play the co-op missions, Paris Stories missions and the social clubs missions. The content is so sizeable I still haven't completed all of them for 5 years from now.

the hit-list and revenge story was a misstep too. Unity had a lot of potential on the narrative side, the first few memories of the game we can see actual good writing and characterization.
