exactly the same man, I remember watching this to get hyped. It still has the same effect. The tasteful application of slo-mo with the music and sound effects is outstanding.

Connor in my opinion is the best assassin, he’s fighting for a cause bigger than himself, and not only is motivated by vengeance, but freedom for his people. His quietness speaks loudly also, he’s a native new to the world and still figuring out the white man’s way’s while also learning how to be an assassin. Plus he takes out an entire British army platoon here, so fkn badass.

Never played a AC, still coming back to this trailer.

This battle took place in June 1775. Connor was born in April 1756, which means he is only 19 years old here. But he acts and looks like a full grown man. When I was 14 years old, the age of 19 didn't seem so young to me. But now at 22, I recognize that he is actually still a boy. Its Amazing.

Good Assassins Creed cinematic trailers are a lost art form

I remember watching this over and over again as a kid. I always thought a movie in that style would be godly

"They speak of liberty and justice, but for who?" That line stuck out to me throughout the entire time I played the game. The whole thing spoke of a Greek tragedy, where the audience (or the player) knows the outcome but is helpless to do anything but watch it happen. Connor helps the Continentals in their struggle, finding solidarity with their ideals of freedom from oppression, but he does not realise that his actions in helping them will ultimately be damning for his own people.

@@TCUberGhost No I loved No Russian. I'm aware they are games of fiction, but they are historical fiction pulled from a time period that is well studied at least here in the US. To have Connor drive Paul Revere around on a horse during his famous midnight ride? Come on. Having Connor do all the work of dumping cargo during the Boston Tea Party while having the Founding Fathers like Sam Adams, who historically wasn't even there, just stand there looking pretty. Saying that Connor, an inexperienced nobody, is just blindly trusted to command the entire colonial forces at Concord? I'm not getting at nitpicky stuff like George Washington having the wrong color hair or that Eagle Vision and Leaps of Faith are a thing, but for the big moments in US History, at least do them a little more justice.

I doubt that ever happened but battlefield 1 let's you do that. It's not a disgrace to these long dead people as long as you're just playing a video game about their times, jeez dude.

2024 still one of the best looking trailers out there

This is so well thought out and true to the character. He shot the templar with a bow, non-fatally and confirmed he was a templar before he assassinated him. Shout out AC such a good series

THIS should be the next Assassins Creed movie IMO

I still feel this is one of the greatest trailers ever made, it has the power, instrumental, and action to be a movie trailer

HyperVolt Yet the game itself was no where near this epic! IMO, if AC3 was released on new-gen consoles, and Ubisoft put more time and effort in the making of the game, it would have been truly a masterful experience! After AC Revelations was released, which was back in 2011, they should have taken a year or 2 to really polish the game!
