Ghost Of Tsushima is one of those games that will always look incredible. I remember playing in on my PS4 and my jaw dropped, I replayed the upgraded version on PS5 and my jaw dropped. The game just looks amazing because of the art direction. So many times I went into photo mode just to take in the visuals. Assassins creed doesn't really have art direction anymore. The open world is usually generic with a cluttered UI that doesn't allow you to take it all in anyways. Assassins Creed feels like they just Added assets that fit the time and called it at that, meanwhile Ghost Of Tsushima wanted the world to feel alive and beautiful. Going down a field in that game is breathtaking, meanwhile I don't feel that with AC. It's not like it's impossible for them tho, they've done it before. The Ezio trilogy of games had pretty good art direction where the world felt like it was crafted with soul and not just assets put down. Unity Did the same while Syndicate took all the soul that unity had and threw it away. So they're definitely capable of making a beautiful world they just don't. Like I said it's soul. The AC version of Japan is like the GoT Japan but without any of the heart. I would literally just walk around in Ghost Of Tsushima taking in the landscape and not being bored.. I don't think I'll be doing the same with AC, just rushing from point to point without really taking in the world.

I assume Shadows has 2 separate characters with 2 separate play styles to look like, they're not copying GoT.

That’s what they already stated. Yusukue will be a warrior and a samurai, there’s places he can’t fit and climb and has limited stealth options. The girl will have a grappling hook, more stealth options and less focus on combat. I’m actually ignoring the negativity until it’s out bc this looks like the first good main ac title in a while.

Too early to spike the ball with regards to gameplay. I'll wait for a Swiftly/StealthBR video before I buy this game for 30 bucks. Story might be more shit than Mirage, considering it has Stage 4 DEI Cancer.

I don’t have a PlayStation so I’m just excited to finally have an open world ninja game to play. Unfortunately this will have to do until someone else comes along and makes one that’s Xbox exclusive or multiplatform. One thing that does look cool though is the dynamic weather system and being able to play the game in different seasons especially winter time

Well if you're going to make a game that is base off of feudal Japan it would be smart for Ubisoft to sell the realism of feudal Japan since that's what their game is based in

If you’re talking about graphical fidelity sure you’re probably right but GoT was a snoozefest in terms of gameplay just mash triangle to win, and the story was absolutely terrible, I hated every choice that Jin made. He should have just listened to his uncle. I got so frustrated with Jin that I quit in the third act and watched the rest of the game online 🤣

If he only listened to his uncle he literally wouldn't have won the war, thats the whole point. Lord Shimura was blinded by ''honor''. Also, the game wouldn't be anywhere near as fun without all of the tools Jin used to kill the mongols. Atrocious take.
