Sabin Perez in reality they’d have tied the corpse to the side of the ship to prevent from floating away then they would butcher it right there as whale corpses are far to heavy to lift out of the water like they do in the game

the guy who changes his name nah the crew sings while you sail. You can collect different songs by chasing song birds at different locations. The singing that your hearing is coming from the crew during the cutscene that plays just before you decide to hunt a shark or whale.

You could try playing Assassin’s Creed Rogue. Although the story is shorter, it is purely single-player, and has the same gameplay style as Black Flag. It’s a game that you can always platinum/get all achievements.
