Hi i just got this motherboard and just realised it has no wifi lol so I'm gonna to get the m.2 card. What I'm trying to work out is how do i get to the io shield to put the antenna in their assigned holes? Does thing above it have to be unscrewed? Or does the plastic part pop off separately? I tried looking in the manual but it didn't really say :(

Hi Navi, welcome to my channel. at the bottom of the motherboard where the rear I/O port are, there are some screws you will need to remove, before you can remove the rear i/o cover.

Hi sTicky, welcome to my channel, by default, this board limits at 253Watts but you can unlock it. I do not recommend to unlock it, but if you want to do overclocking, then by all means you can unlock it and the board will just draw which every wattage is needed. For my experience while unlocking it.. the max I get on my 13700K is at 268 which is based on the cooler I have used. The better cooling you can provide, it can draw higher wattage to boost the clock frequency. Again, I will not recommend this as this will shorten the lifespan of the processor.

Really considering this MOBO. Bios look amazing. Does it show any cool picture of Sonic when the system is booting? *Edit: Oh, it's just the ASRock logo...

Hi Rose, welcome to my channel. use Revo uninstaller ( www.revouninstaller.com/ ). Revo uninstaller will remove all unwanted files / folder / registry in your system. Illustration to use revo uninstaller kzread.info/dash/bejne/p4Gbt7uikc7WqLA.html . Once done, reboot system and install Polychrome again.

Bought this board and im just stuck in the bios. When i go too easy mode where it says boot like it does in this vid i dont get the boot option priority to move things in order. Cant even use the +/- keys to move anything over

Hi Joshua Jackson, welcome to my channel. In easy mode. Use cursor key to highlight to your drive you want to boot and hit enter once, then press + or - to push the boot priority.

I tried adding a Gen5 m.2 slot into this motherboard and it refuses to recognize the drive. The support section of this motherboard dosnt even show a supported gen5 m.2 drive.

@@Decki777 I got i5-13600kf and G.Skill 7200 ddr5. I should have cpu cooler today to start my build. So I wont be able to undervolt a little with that memory? Btw my mb is Z790 riptide.

The Gen 5 m2 doesn't even fit. A stand off stud doesn't fit in that hole where you screw the ssd in at. Wtf

If you want to use the gen 5 slot. You suppose to remove that standoff and place to another slot allocation. I have no issues to mount a gen 5 m.2.

@@giuseppecipriani9795 hmm. did you break the original standoffs? for me I just use a small spanner to unscrew it and to move the location of the standoffs to the back.

@@KleoYan I tried to screw in a stand off that came with the case. I didn't have a spanner so I just needed something to grip the standoff on the mother board to turn it, my fingers couldn't get a good grip. Then moved it to proper location to screw in Gen 5 ssd

@@giuseppecipriani9795 I see, this I must say. ASRock should look into it which I have highlighted to them when I did this open view. Maybe try contact them to see if you can get a standoff from them.. using a plier, the standoff material is soft. so ya.. submit an RMA with them. Thank you for your feedback.
