Kate’s singing at the end is so beautiful. It’s sad to think of Victoria Wood, talking about her young child and her everyday life, about to work on a new film with Julie Walters, etc. Just a moment in time and then gone forever.

It sounded like she was lip syncing. It sounded just like the album. I realize that's how they did it then.

Who else came here just because of this legendary Kate Bush performance? You can feel, that this was a very special, important moment for her

RIP Victoria Wood... We miss you... Lenny Henry was great... Kate Bush is my forever idol 🙏

Kate is so lovely,, she is so gracious and demure yet still a shining overpowering presence here

I love the fact Victoria wood tried her very best to take the edge off some of the questions for Kate… such a great line up of icons

I hadn't watched this for years and never noticed it before (even though I saw that actual show on TV) but I couldnt believe Aspel got away with that last comment. Perhaps some aspects of society have changed for the better after all.

My favourite lyric of all time is "Without the pain, there'd be no learning. Without the hurting, we'd never change." Given me tremendous strength through the years.

This song is INCREDIBLE.

How toe curlingly embarassing was Aspel in these interviews!? Thankfully all 3 guests managed to cope with it with Good humour, tolerance & Dignity. Great to see these 3 Talents from the 70's in the 90's.

When he asked Kate if she is enjoying being a male fantasy you could tell how awkward & uncomfortable that made her feel, not one of Aspel's finest moments in asking that at all.

It always strikes me as very odd that an artist would distance themselves from such an iconic and phenomenal hit as Wuthering Heights. Isn't she proud of what she's created?

yes Kate said she was happy that people liked Wuthering Heights and rem. her for that but I'm sure she has moved on as a writer and the new material is more important.I don't think it has anything to do with not being proud.

The tape that this one came from didn't have many adverts - only 4, plus a trailer, and they possibly weren't during this programme. (The HD isn't online right now so I can't check for sure). Yes it is. Aspel left as he was sort of tired of licking celebrities' boots, culminating in the famous Planet Hollywood episode a few weeks earlier.

@@trollop_7 Basically, the show turned into a giant commercial for Planet Hollywood and Aspel was bullied into going along with it. The show was censured by a regulating body and Aspel decided not to continue with the show.

Strange interview embarrassing in many ways

Oh gosh - I adore Kate, Vic and Lenny but couldn’t get to the end cos of how awful Aspel’s interviewing is.

No clue who the black dude is, but Kate is delightfully weird. Vic was the most talented of the bunch, all around and it's sack cloth and ashes for her loss. Still. Sigh....

Henry was quite amusing in the early 80s, but here in the 90s he's simply a token guest alongside two legendary geniuses.

Everyone has their own opinion of course but I have watched him develop as an classical actor over the years and his involvement in helping others, particularly ‘Children In Need’ and he has got himself to university and has the courage to try something different new. I admire that in a person. he deserves his place amongst other talented people
