I see them as being alternate universes. In both universes the maid plays the same roll but in one universe there is a prince and in the other a princess.

Not trying to bash others wants, but this is the first time I've seen through all these comments, a female, wants something cute with the Prince and the maid/assistant. Everyone just wants the Princess solely and I think it's a bit unfair because damn, this lore would become quite a thick one!
