This is the first ASMR video that, rather than make me close my eyes in relaxation, has had me open them wide in awe, marvelling.

Lovely to see. Brings it all back. I used to do this 6 days a week. No formal training, my friend, a jeweller/horologist started me off. His instructions were, 'treat it like a jigsaw' 😃

The beauty of assembling a precision time keeping device without unnecessary babbling about the procesd. Clear, crisp video and sound. A refreshing pleasure for my weary senses. Thank you!

You just stated the main reason(s) why I enjoy watching this man repairing watches in his KZread videos. No "mumbo-jumbo" talk. No pets jumping into the camera view. No asking us to "smash that Like button". Just his pure, clean, highly refined skills on display for us purists to enjoy. With so many watch repair channels on KZread, I find it odd that only this man; Red Dead Restoration, fully grasps the potential audience that really craves this style of watch service content. I certainly do! I honestly enjoy the silence, that is occasionally interrupted only by the watch he is working on "speaking" to him/us. Beautiful watch, beautiful work, and beautiful setting. I notice that many viewers don't care about music or needless commentary, I am also a big fan of ASMR videos and also apply this to my latest video's ;-). Sometimes it's difficult to get the microphone as close to the watch as possible, but practice makes perfect :-) Again, a very nice video! Greeting from Belgium :-)

Buy some course and learn from it. I suppose at the beginning there aren't many tools that You need for this.

Buy some cheap mechanical watches and open them up. You’ll learn as you go. Don’t go out and purchase super expensive tools - first make sure that you are really interested before investing too much time and money. Upgrade tools as you need them. Best of luck.
