as a person whose favorite series is ACOTAR, i can definitely understand where you’re coming from with the first book. the second book and beyond are what make the series! the first one is more like an introduction into the world imo.

It’s so funny because I often find that it’s sort of a trend that people who love The Folk of the Air series don’t love ACOTAR (and vice versa.) That being said, I definitely think you should give A Court of Mist and Fury a shot because I personally did not love ACOTAR but was obsessed with ACOMAF.

What do you think of Murakami’s novels? I’ve been obsessed with his work recently, i’m in love with the dream like quality of the books. VERY EXCITED FOR THIS VIDEO ❤️ love your videos always

conversations with friends has a limited series if you are interested! I think I like the book a bit better though, i imagined it a bit different. about 7 husbands: even the girl working in the Waterstones (bookshop here in the uk) recommend it but im so wary of highly recommended books now!

you should read the plated prisoner series! honestly if you do one of these videos at the end of the year your new favourite series will be the plated prisoner series. IT IS PHENOMENAL.

I watched this video when you released it and put The Folk of the Air trilogy on my tbr and then like a a few months later I got all the books and just read through them so fast! They're literally all I think about and I dont know how to function! Jude is my queen! A boss bitch. Carden...delicious, dramatic king. I just can't deal. I love this series.

i actually love listening to white noise or inaudible whispering ASMR while i read! it helps me drown out any distractions. or, i love audiobooks as i can listen to them while i multitask!

Beautiful world where are you is so good I reccomend. It’s like super existential and it kinda makes you think a lot but there are some super cute parts like the “I’m not a religious person..” part of normal people I love it a lot.

I just want to recommend “where the crawdads sing” by Delia owens for those who haven’t read it or watched the movie yet. It’s SO GOOD. Five stars. Easily one of the best, most touching books I’ve ever read.

I read it before I saw it on tiktok and it became one of my favorite books but I think that’s cause I didn’t have any expectations haha. People definitely over sell books and tiktok and then leave me disappointed!

I read it because of the hype and am an avid reader and I absolutely loved it so so much! so I guess it really is just a preference thing :)

I personally kinda liked the first ACOTAR book, but don’t you worry girl. Read the second one and you’ll see why everyone loves it. 😉 or maybe you won’t and that’s okay too. lol.

Check out The Aventine by Mads Hennen.

You need to watch Normal People on Hulu! It’s sooo good as well. Based on the book of course :)

Me and my boyfriend absolutely adore both the book and show version of normal people. So much so that we have booked a week stay at the house they stay in during their time in Italy 🤍 P.s the only book that has ever truly tugged on my heart strings is acts of desperation. I cannot recommend it enough, it’s a beautiful heartbreaking piece of work
