My first comment after about a year of being subscribed. I'm happy to say that your channel was the thing that got me back into reading. I used to love it as a student, but marriage and kids made me neglect it. Anyway, I read the Cruel Prince trilogy last month and loved it. Thanks for inspiring us "older folks" to get back to our old habits and dreams.❤

📚 18, so impressive! I know it's not about quantity but still haha. I didn't finish that many books this past month but I did get through David Copperfield and Demon Copperhead (tandem read) which I was very proud of! Highly recommend both, especially reading them at the same time.

I’ve recently read these hollow vows, I really liked it and am exited to read these twisted bonds! 📚

A study in drowning was my first 5 star of the year! It’s relatively short and cute dark academia/fantasy YA romance❤

You should definitely try six of crows by Leigh bardugo! It’s so much better than shadow and bone and I still adore those characters years later

Hi!I’ve read all of the killing stalking series .Sadly it’s portrayed in media as a romance etc when in reality its a psychological horror manga about manipulation and trauma.You could give it again a try with this information i. mind and maybe approach it differently but thats for y to decide of course!i just wanted to inform.Very solid manga sadly the fanbase isnt doing it justice,Have a nice day girl love tour videos

i usually hate peoples who trauma dump in comment sections but I have to say I had a rough day- I witnessed a friends dog unalive his other dog and got bit in the process…I can’t close my eyes without feeling like I’m back there and I really don’t feel okay being alone right now & so I was able to turn on this video as I’m laying down and it’s calming my mind from racing. So my point being is that even though it’s “just asmr” you provide a comforting safe familiar face when people need it and that it very important. keep being amazing

My favorite KU series find so far is the Plated Prisoner series by Raven Kennedy. The last book comes out this August. It’s an enemies-to-lovers (but like fr, no insta-lust) romantasy retelling of King Midas. It’s really good. The main character has great development and there are several sub plots of political intrigue and bridge between worlds building.

Hi Haley!! Not sure if you read this book yet but I started one called “Twenty Years Later” by Charlie Donlea, I only just started it and am already pretty far along and def recommend it! advanced reader copy - basically a copy given to influencers or book reviewers so they can read it and review it before it comes out!! its a way to build hype and publicity around ur book :)

January was also a "successful" reading month for me at 10, lol! Also, if Ninth House and Shadow and Bone weren't for you, but you liked the SaB TV show, try Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo (the same author). I love the Six of Crows duology so much! It's packed and super funny (and the writing is better than SaB, imo)!

Serious question- is anyone else sick of the snippets authors put on the back of books? Lately, I feel like every single one I read makes the book sound so unappealing, and then I actually read the book and it's amazing. Like we need to do better with those because I feel like I've skipped over potentially good books because the summary sucked.

i read the ravenhood series in 2022 and it was a WILD ride !! it wasnt my favorite at the time but i think about it allll the time now so it definitely impacted me. aaand i dnf'ed zodiac academy book 1 once "FaeBook" became a thing AHAHAH 😭
