I think it helps that “Southern Hospitality” goes hand in hand with the accent. We’re trained early on to think about how we treat guests and to make sure they are comfortable for the duration of their stay. No one leaves your house hungry, there’s always sweet tea in the fridge, and always at least one story teller to talk your ear off.

@@MooncrafterUTAU no that’s not it, at least for me. My native tongue isn’t English, never visited America either. I only know this accent from movies etc. and in those they usually show the southern accent people as dumb or rude. Idk why that’s a stereotype. But yeah, it’s something about the accent itself. Sounds very comforting and calming.

i’m from the south and of course there will be some rude/entitled people, but for the most part people are respectful and willing to help out. I really hate that the media portrays us as so negative.

​​@@ereynolds72ollards are a green leafy vegetable. It's used as a side a dish. Its origin is Greece. I don't know if collard greens are eaten in Greece but it's mainly eaten in the south due to the transatlantic slave trade.

This is actually pretty realistic. Most southern nurses are like any other nurse ie professionally blunt, but you get that one nurse. And your acting is spot-on for that one nurse. It's like a kind school nurse but not quite as they are more knowledgeable than slapping a bandaid on you or handing you an ice pack. Well done!

Great video. I love the accent and realism. Either a lot of research/ practice was done, or you do have nursing experience due to the way you triage the patient. The questions are important, the order of the questions, and being relaxed when asking them (making it more of a conversation versus a lineup of questions). Great job.

As a Southerner, thank you so much for not really drawing out your vowels and sounding like an audible caricature. I've been watching Amy for years now, and over all the years she's always been my favorite besides Fred and Gibi, but Amy's is always like man, I feel like she's my sister or relative it's awesome stuff

I have an ear infection right now, and it has been going for 3 days now and it hurts really bad, I’ve had this thing before and it wasn’t so bad because we went to see a doctor that gave us some medications to use.
