Sorry, I didn't explain this and should have, but I had three choices for the 7. So, placed the 7 on the waste pile and played on and waited to see what other cards I turned over.

That was way more fun then sleep lol, that 7 near the end was a hot topic in my mind for a few! I knew you’d get it, but there was 2 places you could’ve put them and you put them in a waste pile, I then understood why people yell at their T.Vs at sports :) hahaha that was fun!

Each of the four piles finish with a King, so they can't be of the same suit.

Once a card is placed on the destination pile it can't be moved, so leaving the card on the waste pile keeps your options open for that card.
