So she’d be a bright spring, which is the spring that borders winter. And she’d look better in bright winter which is the next section over, rather than light spring, which is 2 sections away. And her worst would be I think soft summer (which is muted and cool, in opposition to bright and warm.)

Why are they doing this with artificial light? Shouldn't this be done in natural day light? It will effect the results...

finally, how season is matched with personality. Online analysis gave me a deep winter result, which I never relate to...wearing the colors feels so unconnected to my personality. Wearing bright colors seemed to get me more compliments and I feel more real wearing cheerful colors

I wish we could have seen all four of each color from straight on. Seems like we’d get to see two and then the camera angel would jump to a side view. It’s hard to compare the four different shades when the angle and lighting change.

Enjoying the ASMR here but I don't think Natasha has a very good eye for colour. First off, she shouldn't be typing people with their hair exposed and with makeup on. She also seems to not quite understand colour theory or what makes someone warm or cool. The other analyst you visited in another video (the one who typed you as light spring) seemed to have far better technique and a much better eye.

So she is a clear spring leaning towards winter.

Do you guys incorporate the seasonal theory that incorporates not only the warm or cool undertone but hue such as bright,light, mute,deep,dark? Which then types you as either spring bright(warm), spring light(warm), summer light(cool), summer mute(cool), autumn mute(warm), autumn deep/dark(warm), winter dark(cool) or winter bright(cool)?

I don't think Natasha does, but there's also videos on the channel where Melissa (ASMR Beauty) has a very in depth color consultation with Gabi. She does go into the bright/muted, light/dark and warm/cool in detail!

the best systems have the 4 true seasons plus 3 sub groups for each, total of 16. These take into account dominant characteristics. Done properly, it's systematic and logical and the client can see and follow what is going on.

They typed her as a Spring even though they determined that silver looks better on her and she can handle black and white?! I think she is Bright Winter, which can borrow from Bright Spring.

I thought so too but the Winter palette didn’t look like the typical one. I think that’s why her “Spring” looked better. Winter and Spring have different undertones, so it shouldn’t have been either/or on those two. Still a fun video.

it's too hard to determine because a lot of the winter colours they picked were quite deep, I don't understand why they only use 4 seasons... it may work for those who fit well into one season but those bordering between warm and cool need a more refined analysis.

OMG cover the hair with white first! Also tans have nothing to do with undertone. Really poor techniques here. You have to establish the undertone first by comparing 2 reds, 2 greens and the 2 whites. You have to establish the undertone so you can eliminate half the seasons before you go any further. And it has to be done in natural light. And don't go showing clients a bunch of palettes at the start. Put those away. Not true about having more than one palette either. In the best systems there are 16 types and they have their own palettes so no need for confusion and mixing. Also, personality is irrelevant.

I think she just chooses colors people like and not necessarily the correct season. Also the lighting made it hard to tell. The same drape from different angles looked completely different. So what we saw wasn’t what they saw.

Even with the 16 season system, you have your best season. And then your 2nd best season. It's possible that both Natasha and the client are clear / bright spring. Which means it's quite likely that their 2nd best season is clear / bright winter.
