Watching ASMR Page Turning videos can be as effective for relaxation as breathing exercises, a back massage or visualisation techniques. I've learned that from you guys in the comments section. 🙂
To keep up that calm body and mind-combo, here I am with some fresh page turning and squeezing sounds.
We're flipping through a book that aims to teach the reader how to stylishly throw a "Vintage Tea Party". It seems to involve an awful lot of work, styling those dainty hairdos, buying and/or crafting lots of retro props and spending at least 3 hours in the kitchen baking scones, tartes tatin and fudge.
Even though it sounds overwhelming, it does make for some very pretty pictures, as you'll see on those thick, matte pages.
Also, very hunger-provoking, this book. Get your snacks ready. 🍪

When I was a little girl I would fall asleep to my mother turning the pages rather than reading… eventually I said just turn the pages don’t even read 😂 never new about asmr or triggers back then. But this is 1000% my top fav trigger ❤

You're lucky to have been experiencing ASMR since you were a little girl. Thanks for sharing that special memory with us, Christine. ❤ I guess when we're very young, we don't question why we like something. We just do. It's who we are. It's only later that we start to consider the reasons why we like something, comparing it to other people's experiences. And whatever those reasons, in the end we're very lucky to be part of the 20% of people capable of experiencing ASMR. We're not weird, we're limited edition. 😁

This is such a thing, it’s so great to have videos like this now, when I was younger I used to just rewind certain moments in movies because they gave me tingles 😅😅😅

Very quietly relaxing, enjoyable, and interesting book. I always enjoy when you stop every so often and take a bit of time, look and /or read what is on the pages. These pages in this book and some of your weekly ad papers that are crisp would also add some extra tingles with a gentle hand brushing across some the pages every once in a while too. Your doing great and thank you!!!

I’m so glad I’m not a wierdo for loving the sound of pages being turned. When I was little I use to make my friends at sleepovers do this for me until I fell asleep 😅. We would take turns doing it.. now I know asmr is a whole thing and I use it for sleeping every night 🫶🏼
