Yes it does when they grab you it hurts no matter what I have macaques there nails are pointy and sharp it hurts when they climb on you it hurts when the bite as well I'm not talking vicious I want to hurt you bite which that can easily harm you I'm talking hey I miss you so much I love you I can't control myself I'm gonna bite you

I Googled and it has to do with their communication. It helps to "facilitate cooperative behavior". So, basically, they do it to sooth whoever they're grooming so they can trust them to continue.

If u did the 7day foot mask. By the 3rd to 4th day you start peeling. That monkey will be in heaven picking off all that dead skin on your feet and he will be eating it. Nothing wrong with eating dead skin. Although I won't us humans won't. But reptiles eat there dead skin when they grow out of it. So I know this monkey would eat the dead skin off a humans foot. But it would be very interesting and satisfying to watch

My basset hounds don’t groom me and the certainly don’t like me to groom them (give them a bath) 😆. They are like pigs, they love being dirty and will roll in any pile of dirt, deer crap and mud they can find.

I can't lie. Watching the monkey pick down on your cuticle picking hanks of skin and pulling on them is cringy. Doesn't that hurt? Otherwise, I love the sound he makes with his mouth as he works. I also like how you change the scene every once in a while. Cool.
