ASMR Math | How Much of a Math Nerd Are You? 🤓🙂 (Softspoken)

Ойын-сауық

Hi Cutie Patootie,
Today we're going to do a little experiment to determine just how much of a math nerd you are! Of course, there will be some math + ASMR throughout. With just 1 simple question, I show you my math nerd scale, but of course I don't want you to take this seriously...the state of your heart is more important ;). That said, this was a fun way to look at a wider perspective of math. Having both breezed through and gotten knocked flat, it's always fun to start to know how much you don't know. If you go far enough, at some point you realize there isn't really such thing as being "good at math". Learning never stops! Anyways, hope you enjoy this one, whether for the silly exercise or a bit of soft spoken relaxation.
xoxo,
Decaf~

Above all, I hope you simply enjoy. Your presence, thumbs up, prayers, and encouragement mean more than you know and make our math nook what it is 🥰
💗 Errors are bound to happen and this isn't meant to substitute any other resources that you may have, so I hope you'll use your best judgment/pray about the Math + ASMR. Just here to be an encourager and comforter for anyone who is seeking.

♡ What am I watching? ASMR is often described as a tingly, static-like feeling, often associated with relaxation and an overall feeling of well-being as a result of certain "triggers". Not everyone experiences ASMR, but I think it is a wonderful tool to experience more peace and comfort (not to replace any other practices you may already have :)). Here, we take it to the next level and combine it with math :) Some of my videos have more math than intentional ASMR, while others are more focused on the ASMR with minimal math, but you will see some form of each in every video. It's a fun balance! I share random lessons as I feel inspired, often requested by viewer friends

Definitely a math nerd, but casually. I’m happy to learn all the math I can handle without feeling the pressure of having it be my livelihood.

I used nerd lvl 21, the geometric series. I have a maths exam tomorrow so it is useful to know that I am somewhat okay at maths haha! New sub btw

lol, it’s only important if that’s what you want… so your comment already adds to your levels. Beware, nerd levels don’t always transfer well into life levels though. 🤣😂😂

I think it clicked with me intuitively when I realised that 1 - 0.9r = 0.0r1, which must be equivalent to zero. That feels like it's an absolute rigour-free geometric/Archimedean approach. I am happy to be graded based on that :D I sent you a DM on Discord, btw!

I thought of the monotone convergence theorem where does that land me on the scale? 😅

The answer is no. For every 9 that follows after the decimal point, the value grows both infinitely closer to 1 but, the rate at which the value grows greater also grows infinitely slower. So no matter how many 9s follow the decimal point it will never be equal to 1
