~Answers for FAQ~
1. I have been living in Japan for several years now. I'm a first SPA reviewer in Japan, entrepreneur, digital content creator and professional exercise avoider haha
2. For privacy, I prefer to keep my ethnicity, real name, address in private. You can call me Twix!
3. Why "Twix"? Me and my sister work on the channel together. As you know Twix chocolate bar has 2 pieces. My sister AKA Camsis is behind the camera. So we thought it would be fair If I add my sister's name. So that is how ASMR Twix is born.
4. Camsis prefers to work behind the camera. I hope you will respect her decision. Please don't worry about Camsis! She gets her own sessions off camera whenever she likes.
5. I don't get treatments as often as I post them frequently. I balance treatments schedule considering my skin and health condition.
6. I don't upload "Whispering" and "No talking" videos. Only Soft spoken!
7. All the places I show on this channel are not sponsored, they're collab videos. I have collaborated with more than 150 beauty and health establishments in Japan. When I get sponsorship, I mention it as sponsored according to KZread sponsorship terms and conditions.
8. You can visit all these relaxing places on my channel. 90% of the time there are special discounts or sometimes special gifts just for my subscribers. Mention "ASMR Twix" when booking and in the beginning of your session to use it. Please read the video description before booking to avoid misunderstanding.
9. Many of you worry about hair types, language barrier or just being nervous. BUT we always make sure to ask about these concerns in the videos. All of these places are foreigner welcomed spa and salons. All require booking beforehand!
10. How to book? Book via Instagram, website or phone call beforehand. Instagram is easiest and fastest way of booking in my opinion.
11. 80% of these spa and salons are women only. Sorry but that's not my fault and I hope you will respect their decision. But male customer can visit with female partner/friend in most of these places. Please make sure to check it whether it's women only spa or not. Easiest way of asking is sending a dm via Instagram!
12. Do I have any other social media? I upload self care, funny and more Japanese cultural content on Instagram too! Follow me on @asmr.twix / asmr.twix
13. My P.O. Box:Japan,Tokyo, Shibuya-ku, Dougenzaka 2-15-1, Noa Dougenzaka 309 room
Name:Sakura Nippon

Note: Spanist shared her experience with working on curly hair. She had many foreigner customers with really curly hair and she massaged and did all the treatments as usual. Except for hair drying part. Customer wanted natural drying like no blow dry. So that was the only difference she experienced I believe. Also she mentioned curly hair needs more hydration which makes this head spa perfect for them with so many treatments and massages. Scalp is all the same except if you have certain type of concern and need extra care. Massage is done on the scalp, not on the hair of course. So it's the same process for all hair types. If you wanna get massaged really well and hydrating treatments on your hair, give this place a visit and you will love it!

I totally agree!!! I love the consultation parts and hearing people speak Japanese. It’s so soothing. I am an American and I am multicultural so even hearing my mom speak her different languages it’s just soothing an amazing because it’s very different than the harsh American accents… I will admit even I am trying to work on fixing my voice a little bit!

@matthewwhitton2758 Put down the thesaurus. People in general are loud, especially among friends in casual settings. The difference is that Japanese people have a sense of respect and common decency due to high social expectations and they can exercise those senses when needed. We don't have them in the West, especially in America, which you seem to have lost touch about.

A majority of the time it's true most of the time when you go to a salon or spa they spend the most time focusing on the tops and sides of the scalp. mostly because it's the areas where most people accumulate the most oils and other buildup of product and dirt. It's usually the most oily in those areas because they border the face which tends to be more oily in general on most people as well as the ears producing oils all around and especially behind in the fold. People are more likely to touch the front and sides of their head during everyday wear as well (like putting hair behind the ear, scratching, playing with, and putting up for longer hair people.) I personally tend to get the most weighed down with oils after a day or two on the top of my head and behind my ears where the back of my head and neck tend to get dry and produce dandruff. So scrubbing the areas where it's not as exposed to everything I mentioned before wouldn't be productive. And it's also not as easily accessible by the person doing the massaging, but I do think we don't always see the masseuse's fingers moving to other areas thru someone's thicker hair like Twix's. Most professionals in self care industries like spas also tend to have a basic understanding of the nerves in the areas where they'll be working on a person. So they may try their best to use acupressure on certain areas that people carry the most tension. I do think this professional spent a good amount of time on all areas of the scalp and based off Twix falling asleep I'm sure that it felt amazing!

@@Nik-gc9vl wow I actually never thought about that before. I mostly mentioned it cause when I think about getting a massage, I think about the parts of my scalp that feel the most tense, and so the back of my head along with my neck seem to be the most tense for me. Didn’t think about the oils and stuff from the skin though! That’s so interesting

You need to learn about “the curly girl method”. I love your ASMR, but i suffer seeing how janopesse hairdressers treat curly hair. You need to discover your true curls!

I like how her curls look more than the stringy hair of the "curly hair method" influencers you support 🤭. Twix's look shiny, clean and well-cared.

@@arantxaortiz2757actually, the comment above doesn't mention any influencer, just has pointed at a method that tries to explain how curly hair is different and should be taken care carefully. I'm the first one who thinks it requires so much time to accomplish all the steps, but most of the times people don't know how to respect curly hairstyles and I believe it's what it was expressed before on the comment. Twix hair looks so pretty, that's true, but the texture of her type of hair is that one, not necessarily dry, even more when her scalp is good. And in a lot of asmr videos curly hair is a little bit destroyed just because they follow the same routines without putting attention to the type.

@@arantxaortiz2757 I think I didn't express myself well in the comment. I'm not talking about hair care. I mean she has wavy hair and they always try to straighten it. She just should know how to get her natural wave and control de frizz. The curly method is not for having healthy hair, it only teaches you how to get your natural curl. It is evident that Twix's hair is very healthy and shiny.

Her hair is more leaning towards wavy than curly, but I agree with you that Japanese hairstylists could use more diverse methods to approach curly and wavy hair

I was going to post a comment to say the same thing. Proper curls are only revealed once you start the curly girl method. Twix's hair has that dried-out, wavey look that people with curly hair - who don't know they have curly hair - have. She's got great volume and shine, but it would be cool to see if she really does have curly hair!
