I think part of what makes it amusing is that we're left wondering why neither of the other two people couldn't have done what looks like a fairly standard deep tissue type massage. She came in and perform that massage like it was some sort of complicated act that requires advanced specialized training/knowledge.

Idk why the lady in the white coat is like a metaphor to life in my eyes. You’re just chilling enjoying your day everything is good then BAM! Incomes white coat and inflicts pain and causes trouble. Just like life.

In TCM, there is a saying "通则不痛，痛则不通", meaning if those lymph nodes hurts (it's a sharp pain), there's a "block" there, so what that TCM doc did was, she help to loosen up the veins and promote better blood flow. So Shilli actually felt very relax and relieve after the massage. Usually when you have massages like this, you might sweat a little, pass gas later, and your whole body feels light. TCM is actually really interesting and I was exposed to it when I was living in China. Really hope to go there again.

It seems they're doing a lot at once to speed up the process. Not a bad thing, just kinda interesting. But yeah she dud pop in then out. But maybe ther was mor time. The service was 60 minutes, in the description, but we only saw 10 minutes. Maybe the cut out the talking and most of her work. So what coukrve been like 10-20 minutes maybe of work was cut to a couple moments.

I totally felt your calf pain. Whenever I get a massage, those parts for me were the most painful, too. I suppose it means they need the massage the most but I tend to tell the therapist to lay off that part since it hurts too much when massaged. Interesting to know that that had something to do with headaches.
