I know I can't speak for everyone, but I'd rather you DO put ads in the front of your videos. for any asmr video I watch I always just turn my volume all the way down and then back up once the ad is over. I absolutely love to support asmrtists in the little way that I can by just simply sitting through a short ad :)

these asmrs playing with hair are the bestest ever PERIOD

When I was younger I had super long hair and to prevent it from getting tangled my mom would put it in braids for me every day, I would get so many compliments, even ones of people asking to touch it! It sounds weird but I actually find it incredibly relaxing. We would sit down for a presentation video that our teacher is showing us and I would let a little bit of my hair out then tie it back up halfway so I can make the braid again, then I’d throw it to the back and let the girls do whatever they’d like, a braid or even brushing it with their hands. just the feeling of people being so delicate with my hair felt so nice because I was incredibly used to my mother just pulling like crazy whenever she’d brush it. When the girls would split my hair they’d scratch my back a little bit and it was just my favorite part of the day lol This video brought back so many memories :”]

I was having similar memories!! My beat friend would sit behind me in class and play with hair. It was the best because my mom had always been in such a hurry when we were kids that she would practically rip our scalps off. My little sis was 5 years younger than me and always wanted me to do her hair for that reason 😂. From the time she was little she would fall asleep at the hairdresser - it would crack me up, but I sooo got it!

I had the exact opposite experience. When I was in elementary school all of the girls used to want to braid my hair and since most of them couldn’t it would end up being a knotted mess. I used to come home and my mom would be like “wtf not this shit again” lol.

My mum was the exact same she’d be so harsh brushing my hair even my hair dresser doesn’t brush it nicely but as a kid mainly when we was on holiday I’d ask my dad to brush my hair and he’d do it really nice and soft. Now my dog gets that nice treatment 🥲

Fantastic video! I don’t understand why people are so worried about how you cut her hair! It turned out amazing, and we got awesome asmr!

When she opened the bottle of product and poured it on, I wanted to give her a standing ovation. Someone who understands dry, thick, curly hair. Other ASMR do a little squirt here and there, and you can hear the tangles going "Uh-uh, I don't think so." And the stress it puts on the hair.

Ahh the cutting technique is giving me anxiety.

Also as a hairdresser who's left handed although it might feel more comfortable to use your left hand to cut with scissors it's better to use you right hand because your steadiness is usually better in that hand regardless of dominance

Tomorrow is Father’s Day (technically today since it’s 4AM where I’m at) and my dad is in the hospital. He’s been having heart issues and now those issues went into his lungs. I want to see him and even though I truly hate hospitals. (They make me feel weird) I’m going to put my feelings to the side and be there, we never had the greatest relationship but I do forgive him for everything. 😔 I want to be there for him. This video is helping me relax because I haven’t been able to sleep, rest, or anything.
