I don’t think it’s that unlikely to get a few people who have the same skin. Most people don’t create their own skin, do they? I would assume that most people just download a skin that they like the look of. There are probably skins that are really popular that lots of people use so it seems to me that the more heads you get on the wall, the more likely it is that you start seeing more cases of people using the same skins. I could be wrong though ❤️

It also could be that the player changed their user and or wrong input of the username and or they could be new to mc and just forgot to select a skin haha
