Been here for a while seems to be i’ll stay for a while. This channel is one of my safe places tbh
When using books to add enchantments to items, it’s usually cheaper to combine the books first, then add the one book with all the enchantments to the armor piece. It also means you’ll be able to repair/add enchantments to the armor more before the anvil stops letting you (when it starts saying “too expensive”). It’s a bit of an odd mechanic but it should help in the long run
