I have been doing something similar to help with migraines. It's just releasing tension and helping fluids drain, but after a few sessions now its like my body is remembering how to do that on its own. And I have cheekbones visible on both sides of my face now. Def recommend just for the relaxation.

Of course it didn't help anything, it's all just a scam. You don't magically fix neck pain or 'realign the jaw' by pressing a sharpish point to a spot for 3 minutes. If you get things like this, do it because you enjoy the experience, not because it will actually help you, see real doctors for that.

I like this because essentially she's giving a relaxing session that may help with muscle strain and poor posture and the first girl she seemed to alleviate some swelling or puffiness. But really it's just a relaxing session, and after she's done, she lets them all know how beautiful they really are by saying such and such is fixed. :) Without resorting to actual plastic surgery that makes most people that really don't need (no real deformity or injury) it look like something not so great.

Ima be real all the reply guys in these comments feel super disrespectful. The philosophy of balance & relaxation is every bit as valid as any & it's not mutually exclusive from loving oneself. These massages & accupoint treatments aren't about artificial enhancement, they're legitimately about releasing unhealthy pressure & tension in muscles for both aesthetic & well being reasons. They're also really helpful against migraines as well as tension headaches. She is gorgeous, she was before & she's gorgeous after, but a muscle massage & some accupressure isn't a sign she needs a flood of condescending admonishment that she "looked fine before" self care is valid whether or not it's cosmetic. I notice I only ever see these comments on japanese, chinese, & korean women's posts too, it ain't subtle.

People saying this is only temporary, so is using a cream or a pill or any other anecdote. If you stop using a daily medication guess what happens? You go back to what you were before. If you don't work out what happens? You lose muscle/a good body structure. If you stop eating you waste away. If you stop taking care of yourself you will get sick. If you stop educating yourself you will become stupid. This is a never ending list in reality. Just about everything takes consistency, practice, training etc. There is no such thing as a "one time fix", even when you break a bone you usually have to restrengthen that area with rest, a good diet, and special exercise. If you don't care for an injury you will re-injure it, ending up back in a brace. I'm trying to give some imagery here, I know she has no injuries or ailments, but it's the same process. Life is a never ending "Lather rinse repeat". If you are looking for a 'one time fix' for anything then you are foolish, because there is no such thing. Upkeep is a must, whether it involves putting fresh paint on a wall or massaging the knots out of your muscles, you will eventually have to do it again to keep everything in top shape. This goes for your health, mental health, your relationships, even material things like your home or your job. You need to consistently work if you want positive results. If you aim for 'easy fixes' you will not get what you desire in life.

First of all, it's "antidote", not "anecdote". Two, if you have an infection and get antibiotics for it, it's over, you don't need to do it again. If you get plastic surgery and change bone structure, it's not something that's reversible or needs to be maintained. Your point is that self-care is continuous and while that's true, it's very naive to spend money on repeated treatments when their effectiveness is highly debated. I think the point most people were making is that this is advertised as a treatment you need to get repeatedly because they want the clients to continue spending their money there, not because it's more effective in this manner. AKA it's a quack remedy and so of course it's easy to say "come back, it'll get more effective with time" - people want to believe it, convince themselves they saw change over time.

even chiropractors are frowned on by some doctors. it is sad, as I've felt healthier coming out of a chiropractors office (i have seasonal allergies that swell up one side of my neck, which causes a lot of issue) than any amount of medication has helped. all the medication does is reduce reaction, not remove it

This is not a permanent fix. Muscles stretch and go back to normal fairly quickly. And @DragonJo: chiropractic is good for fixing anything related to the body by releasing tension through either harsh yet precise massages and/ or popping air bubbles in-between joints. In your case, sure, going to the chiropractor every week for several months to years will help greatly, but medication is against the allergies, not against swelling of allergies.

They claimed to be fixing her bones, but that isn't true. No bones move. They're stimulating the nerves and moving fluid. It's Gua Sha with hands instead of facial stones. You can cause a lifting look for about 24 hours usually. I like the video but I wish she would clarify the medical truth of things.
