ASMR Eye Exam…but Everything is Wrong…Literally! (roleplay)

Ойын-сауық

Okay so this has been requested a few times and I wanted to add an SRP twist by attempting to simulate the conditions Glaucoma & Cataract.
Just remember that each condition poses specific symptoms to the individual, and this is an educated guess at how it MAY appear using the technology at hand. Enjoy.

What is ASMR? According to Wikipedia:
Autonomous sensory meridian response (ASMR), sometimes auto sensory meridian response, is a tingling sensation that typically begins on the scalp and moves down the back of the neck and upper spine. A pleasant form of paresthesia, it has been compared with auditory-tactile synesthesia and may overlap with frisson.
ASMR signifies the subjective experience of "low-grade euphoria" characterized by "a combination of positive feelings and a distinct static-like tingling sensation on the skin". It is most commonly triggered by specific auditory or visual stimuli, and less commonly by intentional attention control.

honestly it really bugs me that all these "medical" asmr tests never have anything wrong. like seriously, give me seasonal allergies, a worrying mole, 21/17 vision, a slight hearing impairment in the right ear, and for god's sake, stop pretending i can smell your scented bottles. people without a sense of smell happen irl, its not like its that hard to have those smelling tests be accurate. i dont have any of these problems, but just one (and the smell impairment. thats necessary) would be great in a video.

Love the videos showcasing vision defects, I find them very enlightening. How about a video explaining how color blindness and the color vision test work? I've always wondered about which plates correspond to which defects, and how they look like from the perspective of ppl with different types of color vision issues
