At this point I’m not even opening books to refer to for any eye testing/eye problem information. I just come to this channel.

I'm British, so this gives me *very* strong vibes of going to the optician's when I was little. I never used to love going, but I suppose I found it a bit boring since I've never had any eyesight issues and I've only really been twice, but these videos are very enjoyable and I really like learning all this terminology, it's fascinating :D. I see around 50 shades of gray in those Ishihara plates 😳😳😂

I swear your videos are literally the best same videos, and I’ve been watching asmr for like 9 years. Not sure you if you know but your videos also sound great with no headphones, so if someone just so happened not to have some your channel is absolutely the best for that.

I love colors and normally get really triggered by color tests. This black and white video really worked for me though, I was amazed by how many of the numbers I could see sans colors, lol.

Gladly it's unilateral, i only have it in my left eye, but my eyesight is really bad haha The worst part is that i can't rub my eyes 😅😅 I've been struggling with that since I discovered the condition (2 or 3 years ago) And I'd love to watch a video about that! Suffering from Protanopia and I gotta say, it feels great to not be the only one who has his problems reading the charts. 😂

My best mate, also my math tutor has troubles picking up colours and identifying them sometimes. So if he gets under my skin with a math question I give him one of those numbers made of circles tests just to get even. Always a good laugh

Question, if you have been like this from birth - and you point at a colour, how would you know what the colour was anyway? How do you know what grey and black is if you only see grey and black? Surely no concept of colour at all? Genuinely interested

It’s a strange concept to wrap your head around. I’m guessing those with actual colour defects are told what the real colour really is, and they use memory recognition at times 🤷🏽‍♂️👍🏽

You scared me because I was seeing nothing on the last several sets. I had to take a couple tests again to prove to myself. I think you need to color to be able to see a few.

Having watched this makes me feel like I'm partially colour blind because on the test which there are numbers in the colours I couldn't see some of them

I got my eye tested how many colours do I see for real. And the lower your points were meant you seen on a bigger scale. I got 2 points. The fun fact is that my biggest fear that I'll become colourblind.

Dogs actually are red/green color blind they can see color but only certain shades. ;)
