Yes it's totally normal. It's just the neurons in your brain activating, firing electrical impulses to certain parts of the brain also kicking off a chemical response making you feel all gooey. It's good stuff isn't it. Lol

Yes. I only get tingles on my right side. I assume it's because I have some hearing loss in my left ear.
