Isn’t THAT the truth. So many people say that I should throw my shoes away and many shoes nowadays, are indeed, disposable. But this video here TRULY shows how, when you have a pair of shoes you love and that are your style, you can keep them for much longer, taking great care of and renewing them. BRAVO!

Also, with some shoe purchases, you know that the shoe industry has its own issues. I bought some Michael Kors wedges some years ago. Each of the 3 pairs just couldn’t stay on my feet. I thought it was me, only, I didn’t have this issue with all of the other shoes I have. I come across a random stranger, tell her I have the same shoes and she says she loves the style, only she can’t seem to keep them on her feet. Clark’s? Ecco? Perhaps some other brands that have rubber soles? You could keep them in a box or you could wear them. But at some point in 1-3 years, you’ll be at work, going to the store, an event, walking through your house. You’ll look down and your shoes have started falling to pieces. The rubber has turned into a cakey, gooey, disintegrating mess that has now also ruined the carpet you’re walking on. For me, I had to glue my shoes together, just to get home from work without being barefoot. Clark’s answer? Discontinuing their lifetime warranty back in 2015. There are videos on this. So now, as I go through my shoe purge, I may keep the old Clark’s that are still intact, I consider having he bad ones resoled, but you can be CERTAIN I ain’t NEVER buying a pair of shoes from Clark’s that might cost $100 and fall to pieces without me even wearing them one day. This has also caused me to really appreciate many of the leather sole shoes I have and I have also learned that, instead of buying Clark’s, I can just buy better quality at Walmart for $20.

My mom and dad taught us, that no matter how much money you have, you should ALWAYS know how to take care of your shoes. They show alot about you. They take you places...and with care...get you everywhere.
That is a lost art nowadays. Reminds me of the Italian shoe cobblers back in the days n I lived in Black Harlem. True Shoe Artisans!! A lost art now

Not in my experience, I had a pair of shoes, they had a weak spot on the side, where the fingers bend when you walk... the result was a hole impossible to repair. Not spending money in a new pair anymore.

martin jean The Timberland Classic still use premium material. However, ever since they were acquired by VF they have moved away from durability in their shoes. Vf also own north face & they didn’t want to compete this timberland had to move away from their traditional stance. Sad state of affairs. I work for them that’s why I know btw

Timberlands havent made good boots in decades, now they are over priced junk production made fashion boots.
I can’t even describe to you the satisfaction I get watching the cleaner lather up so easily 😌 Thank you so much for making these videos. I appreciate it and enjoy it A LOT.
Don't know why but I find this video very relaxing...the music with the sounds of the repair is very smoothing! Congrats on job and the video!
Well now i know I'm not the only one who take so much care with the boots and cleaning them it's relaxing
These are the most calming relaxing videos you understood how much I love leather let you know me watching you restore and beautify and bring back leather to it’s subtle beauty is so satisfying and very very 😌 relaxing. Thank you 🙏
이 동영상에서 토이스토리1 우디 고쳐주던 장면을 볼때의 그 희열이 느껴짐..
This video made me happy. Both from the calming visuals/music but also that the boots will now have a new life, rather than being garbage 💞

Well burned one and zoned out on this video. And I must say it was very calming. And incredible work I must say. Cool, way to see what a cobblers day might be like. That’s gotta be a passionate job to work with leather and fixing boots. Now imagine 12 hours of this a day!!!

Cool video. I am trying to learn how to restore and custom design leather goods and found this helpful. It is not about saving money as much as creating something unique.

I love cleaning boots, shoes and Sneakers, this was a relaxing video with the Music. Thanks
Great reconditioning!!! I would've preferred to leave them without the final orange/yellow/mostard cream that gave them the final look. But it was a good video and great cleaning and reconditioning, indeed.

They used to call this a "shoe shine". They used to sell polish and everything! There would even be people that shined your shoes for money while you read something called "The Paper". True story!
