Most affordable apparel isn't meant to be restored. It's only the really expensive stuff (that most people wouldn't be able to afford) that can stand up to being cleaned. Modern clothes are intentionally made of cheap materials so consumers keep buying replacements when the old ones wear out after 1 or 2 years.

Tenzin Smith A lot of people can’t afford shoes that cost over 50€ (or else). Like my single mum for me and my brother when we were younger. Since I started earning my own money from age 15 I can afford nice quality shoes. But “high end” isn’t always better quality as I found out! :)

i wish all shoe repairing masters were as honest and as good as him

VeTiVeR and his craftsmanship is special. We have to understand the fact that VeTiVeR does not only bring back dead shoes back to life, but films clean videos while capturing crisp sounds. AND he edits the videos for us to view. His knowledge and discipline towards each shoe and its design/color/material/repair is mind-blowing. As a person who loves sneakers and shoes, I truly appreciate what you do. p.s. my fav part is when you dry the shoes outside
