I doubt it. Cats ear are sensitive and its likely just hearing all rough tongue and sniffing. I'd imagine it's have trouble hearing out one ear for a while.

I'm so glad I'm not the only one who is soothed at the sound and motion of a cat grooming. It's instant dreamland when my cat Achilles grooms himself while laying on me. He doesn't do it much now that he's 10. He also use to luck my face at night. I'd wake up with my face in pain because it was so dry, but i didn't mind. I was too relaxed to shoo him away.

It looks like the calico kitty is enjoying the ear cleaning. That looks like pure heaven. Very satisfying.

Ginger cat: is there food in your ear? Calico cat: Yes there is! Ginger cat: Ok, I was starving! Calico cat: You can have all of it! Ginger cat: Yay!

Cats usually do this for earwax lol but anyone reading if your dog does this at all they may have a ear infection, they STINK so bad, I even have a infection right now, I did think they probably lick only other dogs ears but I have 2 dogs trying to lick my ear and smell it , they get attracted my the smell, I hope this helps anyone in the future ❤❤❤ don’t let them lick in the ear (dog) other wise another ear infection will take over, even tho it’s satisfying video ngl- 😭

sometimes they also lick other cats (or animals in general) ears because can detect some sort of infection and licking infections are their natural way of cleaning and healing

I remember my dog long ago when I was little my Grandma would always massage my feet as I fell asleep because I had night terrors, when she passed away they got worse, suddenly my dog started falling asleep with me even licking near my feet, I thought maybe I stepped in something but i remember she slept on the bed with us, I miss her sm she was such a gorgeous black lab
