Hi, I just wanted to say I really appreciate how you tap. Um tapping for me causes physical pain, I have over-sensitization triggers. The child psychiatrist had labeled them as “OCD esque triggers”. Certain things (certain sounds/textiles) set these off and my “rituals” to settle them are very painful, I usually have to contort my spine or hands over and over. Tapping and knuckle cracking are two sounds I can’t handle. I get bad migraines. ASMR has helped alleviate them. It can be really hard for me to find no tapping videos. But your tapping is so light that it didn’t really trigger me so much. I don’t know if that is on purpose but I wanted you to know that I appreciate it very much. ❤ Edit: sorry TLDR: I just appreciate your vid🎉

I am fascinated by the gentleness you grab and touch things. Fun fact: The suffix -gasm means "An intensely "explosive" or pleasurable experience or thing" and so the word eargasm is actually its own unique word from its twice removed and estranged cousin "or-" and is used correctly 🥰 On another note, it is often used (even by doctors) to describe the feeling when you put a q-tip in your ear (not how they are meant to be used, but I know you've all done it) and you scratch the perfect spot.

It’s actually quite a common term that has been used by the ASMR community for a few good years now. I’ve been browsing ASMR since 2016, so seeing the word ‘eargasm’ is very normal to me, but I can completely understand how shocking it must be for some people to see it without any kind of context.

you should get a cardioid mic so that you capture more of the “tingles” n less of the background ambience leakage doesnt need to be a condenser just any normal mini dynamic mic should be ok already
