Why are you whispering at me?!
#ASMR is an acronym commonly used to describe the tingly/buzzing/static sensation associated with certain audio/visual stimulae - often whispering/soft-spoken voice, and other quiet triggers. It's a similar feeling to 'frisson' - the shivers that run up your spine when watching an incredible scene in a film, or really /feeling/ amazing music. It's the best.

    While everyone is talking about the practical effects (which are super impressive!) I really love the idea of the video. As we get older, the world seems to become black and white. The character reflecting on the photos of his birthdays when he was younger, being in color, but as the pictures become more recent, become black and white. The idea that a phone was "boring" and black and white, but the rubex cube, a "child's toy" being in color really drives the point that when we view the world like we would as a child, it becomes more colorful. At least that's my interpretation.

  • @WitchKing-Of-Angmar

    @WitchKing-Of-Angmar

    2 жыл бұрын

    Not like we would as a child, like we would before 2000s and onward. The world really has gotten worse, it's not just a movie that you leave glad that It doesn't depict natural life, it's the movie about cancer, going home after to your relative that was just diagnosed with it, scared to what the future may hold. People will tell you it's just your childhood and Rose colored specs that treat you to the innocence pure best times of your life, but that isn't so true, when everyone around you is more and more unrealistic and miserable, whereas they weren't when you were young. Back then there were reasons to be miserable, now it's simply the act of feeling like nothing that is killing society. Wanting to sleep extendedly for hours upon hours hoping you can achieve something you've wanted to do. Before it was close and had a warmth and color to it, whilst now the things you've been waiting to get to at the end of the tiring week, seem miniscule and distant. You'd rather sleep than get to that enjoyment, because it's waiting for your emotions to meet the exciting thing, no longer the exciting thing to raise your emotions to glee. Like we are judging that fascinating wonder of creative joy as being so tranparent and not all it could be. It's like trying a show, in modern day it strikes people as odd to just dive into a random selection from Netflix or Prime (depending on the free section that is), sitting back on presumably your couch or for the strange - a swivel chair 7 inches from your screen. But that is the finite issue, we need to be told that it's good to watch, or basically what a short example of the show before hand, with people eager or anxious to start watching. It's the competitive devotion that current times offers so much, we can't just put it down, its destiny to finish at least an entire 5-7 episodes within one sitting, so it feels wrong getting into a mysterious show either ready to give up or a slave to the screen watching all the way through it waiting for something remotely enticing to happen. At other times curiosity I killed when you can't find what you want, after that you give the curtains close speech in your head and the "ah I'll just go to bed, the shows still not out yet". Instead of finding something else that proves a pivotal and exciting way to spend the night. We hold emotion over everything, and suffer because of it..never getting through anything and all of a sudden your weekend is spent away like cash to the first decent outfit a store offers; Or if it's Gucci...a final prize no one can win...and no one wants. I haven't done anything fascinating that I've wanted to do for the last 3 months, Halloween is almost here and I haven't contended to being in any mood of haunting delight, and I'm sure for thanksg....for Christmas, I'll put up a tree, but see the whole act as more if a golden shimmer, than a tradition and great fresh minty enchanting joy I was enjoyed everyday until the final. I honestly believe so that because I anticipate a major event or thing that will happen, I forget all the moments I'm in now, so I feel useless when October 31st hits, or December 25th ends. That tree and ornamental shimmer means nothing after those important follow-up days...at that points it's the past that your taking down. Oh how dismal.

    For me, this isn't great for the ASMR response, but I think this is an excellent model of what ASMR should be. Every action had a purpose, and it told a story. Nothing about the character was creepy to me at all, and they weren't randomly feeling things to feel things. The character feels natural. At no point did I step back and question "what am I watching?". It didn't feel forced. The character was relatable. It's good.

Just the way the general mood changes and how happy it is by the end vs the startt, even contrast the whole candle light and photo take without a word directly/indirectly said towards the viewer is just wow. I mean OK there is a mumble here and there but those seem to just be for the auditory asmr effect, the tone shift presented to the viewer would still be the same with or without. Its real nice !!

    Необычная деталь. Эта серая краска является не только обесцвеченной, но и матовой. Выходит, что она скрывала не только цвет, но и блеск. Я совершенно очарован этим реквизитом

    I absolutely love the mumbling noises he is making, It reminds me of one of those cartoon shorts that has the characters just making vocal noises but aren't actually speaking words.

    I feel like a child watching magic tricks, every time a new colour pops: I smile and clap quietly. So mesmerizing and creative. So many positive emotions :). Also, this video made me have a little crush on Atlas 😳, looking even more attractive than usual.

    very cool visual that everything is gray and without mood but birthday it fixes everything because it's a holiday that makes everyone laugh and there colors appear.
