Girl when you said Percy Jackson omg! They were hands down my favourite books growing up and I just reread the series at 23, still hits the same! You have to read Heroes of Olympus after you finish the first series, it's much less "middle schoolish" imo

OMG IM SO HAPPY YOU’RE STARTING PJO!! It definitely has the middle school feel, but the characters will definitely grow on you throughout the series. Percy and Annabeth also have such a good slow burn too by the end of the series

If you end up enjoying Percy Jackson, I highly recommend the Magnus Chase series! Same author but based in Norse mythology instead! I was obsessed when I first read it and it just doesn't get enough attention

I have to scoop in here and tell you that I started the chestnut springs series today. I read 2 books already, currently at Jaspers book. Fair enough I started at 1am after finishing another book lol, so yes I didn’t get any sleep. But I just HAD to hop in here because I couldn’t be thankful enough for your recommendation Haley! It’s AMAZING! Been looking for a good, fun romance series lately and finally found THE one I think ✨✨✨✨
