@@jdmilion1096 my barbers usually give me the classic hairstyles, the majority of them don't suit my face. I guess it depends on each individual. The modern haircuts might suit me, but I find some of them hard to maintain. Many of people my age have long hair and I can't help but wonder how they can manage to keep their hairstyles all day long

I've been a barber for 30 years, had my own shop for 20 of them. And I se the profesionalism in your cuts and your style. Love the way you have your barber shop set up, love the fact you give your clients a whiskey. Did that myself with my shop as well. Keep up the great videos!! 👍🙏

WOW I’m from Memphis. Home of Elvis of course. When I was very young I would see him around town, always very late n evening. Met him several times. That style of cut was at the time was rebellious but so great looking.even girls and women would get a similar Elvis inspired cut. To see this barber ( artist) work his magic took me back to wonderful times. Sadly, I was working at Baptist hospital where he he passed. Growing up if U saw him out he’d always wave, say how r yawl doing tonight… apologize for getting off track, just wanted to say how great it was to see this .

@@earlydiscontent3330 yes,, when I was a preteen went to his first home where he would sign autographs. As I grew older it was common to go to Graceland, wait at gate for him and friends to come out. This was always late at night. I had a friend that worked at movie theater he would rent out. I was invited. He was always friendly and funny. I stared working at Baptist hospital . Whenever he was admitted he would sleep during day and go to charity wards to visit. He gave out gifts and spent time w pts. He often paid their bill and have them moved to better care floor. If I worked late shift u could often see him. And his usual “ how r yawl ( or u) doing? And yes, if he went car shopping he bought cars for many people, most were looking at lower priced cars and he would upgrade to what they couldn’t afford on their own. When he was n town he rode motorcycle around. If u stopped at red light he’d nod and wave. Sometimes exchange brief conversation. I met Charlie hodge and he invited me to Graceland . He and entourage sang around piano, mostly gospel. I cannot stress enough how kind he was and was the most beautiful man I’ve ever seen. My heart was broken n later yrs when he got so many meds from so many diff drs. And his crew didn’t help. And when he was brought to hospital to b pronounced dead, he had already been dead for several hrs

Amazing haircuts and shaves aside, the cinematography and audio is so amazing, not to disrespect other channels but most offer 2 or 3 angles, everything is on point, absolute perfection, my whole scalp tingles when I watch these, so nice to sit down after a long day, sip some whiskey and let all the stress go away… thank you for such amazing content.
Absolutely dig this gentleman. Everything about this experience screams attention to detail, professionalism and class. My only complaint is the loud commercials now every few minutes. Hair Hood isn’t responsible for those. Wish I knew a hair stylist like him.

You walk into an empty hair salon and what's the first thing they say- Have you got an appointment. Off course I didn't have or need one as the place was empty. They took my details and email first.
