If you can listen closely during the intro of the song, you can hear Maynard's haunting vocals saying, "here comes the water"

Notes for "Disgustipated" * it was intended to be a 'hidden track' on the Undertow album * it was track #69 on the CD (with 60 blank 1 second tracks before it) * the did destroy a grand piano with a shotgun during the recordings. * it is eerie, comical, creepy, tribal, haunting and filled with Easter eggs. * will it make you feel uncomfortable - yes... but will it also make you think - yes. I''d suggest having the Undertow CD to explore the artwork during the listen... its all we had in 1993, with no lyrics or roadmap of instructions. Best of luck! 👍

One of my 3 favorites from the album. Bottom and Undertow are the others. Have patience with Disgustipated. Have an open mind, it’s worth it.

Sorry about your bad week . I had a bad day. Too busy. Got off work an hour ago. This was my highlight. Tool does better as albums go by figuring where to put these drawn out parts. This was good. But too long, too soon.

You are correct, we DESERVE disgustipated!

Disgustipated is different, so expect something not only involving "traditional melodies" all the way through, particularly the latter half.

Don't get too excited about Disgustipated. You need to hear it to make the album complete, but it isn't really a song.
