I am Christian but thats more of an excuse to brush you away. In my opinion, start with praying, which is about half the work, but you need to do your part too and he'll lead you from there. If you don't agree that's fine, I'm not pushing

I don’t mean to diss my school or God in general but my school doesn’t always practice what it preaches which not only rubs me the wrong way but for the other students who come to the school see adults who are “Christians” acting one way and telling the students another way.

My parents: Self-harm is a bad thing. It's bad for you and you shouldn't do it. Do you know how bad it is for your mental health, cutting to the point of bleeding? Aizawa: *literally saying everything I wanted them to say*

Hi, I'm 23 and I self harmed from about 11-18 on and off in the later years. I told my guidance counselor what I was feeling when I was about 16. He was very receptive and good about everything. He did call a Crisis Councilor to come talk to me but it wasn't awful or scary, they came right to the school. He didn't send me away because I wasn't in active danger. I even had it arranged so my parents never found out about it. They set me up with an in school therapist which again, my parents (specifically my dad) never knew about. Not every school or every experience is the same. But I want you to know that there's hope and that people care. If you are in active danger, I do suggest seeking out help 💖 crisis hotlines have been good for me, there are some you can even text. And I know a lot of people who have had good experiences in mental health facilities and benefitted a lot from the care they got there. Everything will be okay, it will be a struggle sometimes, but it will be okay.

Aizawa was always a character I see as a father figure,My actual father only cares about my education and when he found out I self harmed he assumed I did it for the attention of some douche and basically slut shamed me constantly. I also suffer from PTSD from being attacked and I have two large scars across my arms,Whenever I hear his voice it just calms me down and I feel this fatherly love so thank you

I feel like Aizawa had a bad home life as a kid. Like either it was a really toxic environment or he himself self-harmed. That’s just my headcanon, but it would be cool if it were true.

This reminded me of the only teacher I had that took the time to check on me when I was in a bad place. I had missed a few days of school because of self harm and we happened to run into each other at a restaurant the day before I went back to school. He was genuinely so concerned and once I went back for the rest of the school year he would always check on me and notice when I was a little off and gave encouragement. One of the nest teachers I've ever had.

there are 2 options if you do 1- grippy sock jail (been there) 2- grippy sock vacation (been there 3 times) at least you get free grippy socks and people to piss off all night when you are bored

i didn’t realize it, but technically i’ve been self harming since before i was a teen. now im almost an adult and still struggling. i have good, long streaks where im clean but then i have bad, long streaks where it’s almost every day. now that summer’s almost here for me, it’s going to be harder to hide it. im definitely going to be listening to more of these audios because they actually do seem to help get rid of the urge. thank you for making this

I didn't tell anyone yet but- I think my eng teacher might know 🗿 she saw my arm once at a skl party and was like *what's that* and I picked on my skin in skl from stress but with my nails so they looked like misketo bites or sum- I said i have a dust allergy and I scatch my skin alote- she took it but then last week she kept eyeing my arm and then asked abt it once again 🧍‍♀️

Me even staying is inaccurate if he said he was busy I would just leave and say it’s not important. I don’t think that’s to good is it.😂. But great job.👍
