But relieved it's something like that bc I was thinking "Why is she role playing that we're in an abusive relationship? Not exactly relaxing." Then I was like "Why are we role playing a mermaid in an abusive relationship?" until the seal thing lol. Knowing it's a mythology/lure makes this better.

@@bossyboots5000 Yeah, unfortunately, "abduction followed by captivity until you figure out where they hid your coat, which could take a couple of decades" is a pretty standard part of the package in selkie/human relationships. :-( (Although I think there are a few stories where it doesn't go like that, and the selkie's there because s/he wants to be...but then they tend to leave once they've had kids. And sometimes they take the kids with them, so the human loses their whole family. x_x)

There is some stupid idea, that came to my brain which was covered in tingles during watching this video: how about "a pretty normal" videos? Like pair to "a rather strange", where the viewer is still some supernatural creature, but the worker knows it, so the methods of work are more suitable (like feeding special berries to Medusa's hair, because she wants to dye it, or applying tanning mixture on a ghost using laser pointer)

At least the selkie isn't undead, just mythical. 😅 Much less scary to encounter at work. It sounds like "we're" super homesick, though, picking spa things that are ocean themed.

Her ancestor must be the spa lady that treated the gorgon and the snakes and that's why she's (unknowingly) so good with supernatural creatures

My partner hid my coat… My home is in the ocean… HOLY MOLY IM A SELKIE!! (As a scot this has made my day!!)

Biggest hint at the two minute mark where she asks about our coat, gets confused when we say our spouse took it. Because in most stories human guys will steal a female selkie's coat to force her to marry them.

And imagine said magical creature actually being the exact same shapeshifter each and every time, following her because of the great experience they get from her at each and every interaction. That's basically what we are doing. We're both awful and grateful at the same time, I suppose 😅

I don't typically go for Spa Roleplays but this was amazing! I loved the first Strange™ video you did; these are so creative and well-done. I don't think I see many where *we're* the weird ones and not the content creator, so props to you! Can't wait to see what the next one is if you decide to continue these :D

I need a part 2 of this where we come back with good news of being able to see our family again, as a half scot I come from a big family that means alot to me 😊

This is the first video of yours that I came across and I really like your use of the lore and how the strangeness evolves from a little akward to very sweet. Also, I find the background music very relaxing compared to the usual silence in other videos; I understand this is due to the spa theme, but maybe there are other excuses to be found for other videos? Lastly, I like how you don't go tapping on everything you touch, but keep the sounds natural. To each their own, of course, but I appreciate that not using these pretty common and obvious triggers means you probably need to spend more effort into planning the sounds and other triggers you DO use, as you lose a big and simple go-to. I think you did a great job filling the potential void and to create a coherent, logical, caring and enticing experience. Thank you for putting your content out there for us to enjoy. I am subscribing right now and I look forward to looking into your other videos, both old and new. As others mention your attention to detail, I am sure I will enjoy those too! (Although I have a tendency of forgetting to like them in advance, so I fall asleep without liking them and then forgetting to go back to them later.)

I mean, apparently the vampire thought she did an awesome job, and she seemed really happy with the outcome herself. I think she could've stuck with it. 😂 ...Although maybe she figured out what they were a couple of days after the fact and got scared that they'd come back when they were hungry or something, I dunno.

Hi - love the slow pace, non rushed speech with lots of space. I find this much more relaxing to listen to that when the speaker tries to fill every moment with sound. Also love the softness and closeness of the whispers. Perfect ASMR. Great job.

I actually feel very homesick today and home is the ocean and it has been ages since I had the chance to go home😂 I couldnt go to sleep on time tonight, because I couldnt find my shell to listen to the ocean sound and it keeps me awake that I still dont know where I put it. I dont need it very often, but the sound in this shell is the sound of home and cant be just recreated by a video or another shell. I will need a backup 😂

I’d like like to think that the reason I’m at this spa is because I’m in a really pissy mood and my bf forcibly dropped me off here and that he won’t pick me up until I calm tf down.

I feel so bad for this poor lady who keeps accidentally running across supernatural beings (who don't seem to understand socially acceptable behavior/conversation for humans). Miss girl is DESPERATELY trying to figure out some explaination while fully denying any types of mythological beings.

I really love your videos a lot! One suggestion I have seen other places is they put a mic near the camera so when you “rub someone’s face” you can rub the mic at the same time and it makes a dynamite sound

Dear Mira I got two video requests one do a Record of Lodoss War Grey witch video two do a Heroes Jessica/Nikki video i feel that duel personality disorders aren’t covered very well in the ASMR community thank you so much

I noticed this when I was editing too 😅 audio is coming through the left I promise! I was just turned more towards the right and so the sound picks up much stronger on that side. Definitely keeping an eye on that in the future!
