He runs around clueless, building decorations, wasting time and resources while I struggle to keep us both alive, pounding my head on the desk. Maybe a metaphor aimed at a bad comedy or something would have been a hit, but instead you just look like an asshole. Imagine being so disappointed over a video, you have to try and insult someone over a comment they made, about an opinion that has literally no effect on your life. @@luniblue3412 I have zonked out for several hours just picking up stuff with the hook. There's a story and progression, but you can outright ignore it forever. And the shark, well, ignore him too. As long as you're using the hook and understand he targets the outer ring of the raft, he's no threat to you or your buildings.

Watching the both of them play together and working together makes them sound like a married couple, with all the arguing, it is so funny. Good stream too!

McConnel is SO in to this it's hilarious. It's like if a Paleontologist took their Friday Night Football pall to a Stegosaurus dig... and was just continually losing their shit as to why their friend is completely incompetency at digging, nor comprehends the importance of any of their finds.

This is such a good relaxing stressful game. I always stay on the raft for a long time building nets for a auto gathering raft. Once that's done, i go island hopping.

12m into the video and this is gearing up to be an instant classic. I don't know how it ends but I would love to see more videos of this assuming it snowballs from here lol

The thing I learned in the first hour of this game is that you need to do islands really fast. Being adrift is more important than staying anchored to an island with limited resources, most of which you find adrift.

I've been watching asmon since 2018 and this was one of his best stream imo. I've laughed so hard i almost pissed myself

The trick i found with the raft itself is to build a massive Net system like a rake, which will gather all the ocean scraps for you while you do other stuff on the raft. Been playing for quite a couple of hours with a friend and it is quite fun :)

Love to see Asmongold play this game, Its really a chill and fun content

I don't know why Mcconnell has this obsession with paladins doing huge damage, but hearing him talk about them you'd think that was some sort of accepted standard. The only games I can think of where paladins are primarily a damage class are Diablo and WoW (post TBC), in almost every other franchise they're firmly a defense or support class that can do a little burst in niche situations.

@@RJMacReady1 Dungeons and Dragons, Pathfinder, Everquest, Lost Ark, Final Fantasy (not just 14, but the whole series), Pantheon, and Dragon Quest. Even World of Warcraft presents the paladin as a defensive class first and foremost. The simple fact of the matter is that Paladins being portrayed as holy, avenging crusaders is much less common than them being shown to be holy, stalwart defenders.

Watching a mostly MMO player (especially well known as he is) play my main genre of games and pretty much failing makes me feel better for some reason... I'm a terrible human but this is funny af

The music ingame is just perfect. You feel lonely... but it still has a upcheering tone
