annoyingly my raid leader in wrath was also a boomkin, and she took priority on all loot drops, while doing 30% of my damage with better gear

Its far easier to do good damage when you have nothing to worry about. This is why raid leaders generally play easier classes.

"Everybody has that shit except me". Well yeah, people who actually play the game tend to have loot vs people who do a raid once and kill the boss who drops the item once.

I was one of the Demon Hunters in this, everyone was pumping and it was an incredible experience getting to carry Mr Bald.

I dont play WoW so can someone explain? Is Asmon just bad at the class he's playing and doesnt know his rotation or is his class just bad? I still dont even know if his class is a tank or dps tbh.

It's both. I don't know if there have been any changes in prepatch but in shadowlands it's wasn't very good. Asmongold is not very good with his class either. Source: When I played at the beginning of expansion I had worse gear because I skipped BFA yet I still did more damage than him.

He does not care anymore. He probably has upgrades in gear just sitting in his bags. Dragonflight will be much better to compare his performance to other players because since it requires less busy work. If hes much behind other players in DF i can safely call him past it

is really had my longest WoW comeback, playtime and motivation wise, in SL since MoP. It somehow catched me, but then SoP came out, i rnd raided every day, HC in week 2, because i was on fire. Farmed the set bosses every week and the week you could make set parts, even with the made setpart i only had 2. So i turned my back on this foolish game, which wouldn`t reward me like it did in the early times of the Game. Now here i am again, watching an asmongold video... i can feel the strap around my arm,... a new addon is coming,... the needle tears a hole,... Wotlk classic is out,... the shot hits,... I`m a female Bloodelf Deathknight.... again,... Lok'tar ogar! FOR THE HORDE!

I forgot how awful this game looks. In combat, 90% of the screen is just UI elements. Enemies are literally just health bars as far as I can tell 🤣

This sentiment of " Let me know if you don't know what to do in this raid so i can kick you out" is ruining WoW. How are you supposed to learn the Raid if everyone kicks you out for being new to it? Asmon is toxic as hell and This sentiment is ruining WoW.

Yeah he is toxic but everyone who joins his raid knows it. If you join his raid and don't have any knowledge about the encounters then don't be surprised if he starts to insult you. I am not saying it's right but that is how it is. It's not against the rules.

@@czmammut it’s not just him. It’s every raid group you can find. If you say you aren’t super familiar with the raid, BOOM, kicked. Also Asmon himself says he doesn’t know the mechanics for some bosses. By his own logic he should be kicked.

It's a Heroic raid that's been out for going on 8 months at the time this was recorded. If you zoned in and you're at the "I don't know what to do" stage of raiding, you need to be removed, you're really in the wrong place lmao
