Muhakkak ki Allah ve melekleri, Nebî'ye (Peygamber'e) salat ederler. Ey âmenû olanlar (ölmeden önce Allah'a ulaşmayı dileyenler), siz (de) O'na salat edin! Ve (O'na) teslim olarak salat edin! Ahzab 56

Peygamber Efendimiz (salallâhu aleyhi ve sellem) buyurdu ki: "Günlerinizin en faziletlisi cuma günüdür. Bu sebeple o gün bana çokça salât ü selâm getiriniz; zira sizin salât ü selâmlarınız bana sunulur." (Ebû Dâvûd, Salât 201)

He has stated himself that he takes close fondness to the Chisti spiritual order through its poetry however on seperate occasions he has stated he identifies with the Shadhili order. But Allah knows best.
