475k is the dream 😂 this series is a lot of fun. ALSO it's crazy to see that many people think they make more than a photographer (based off the people you interviewed in the last video). I feel not too many years ago they were valued way less than a wedding photographer.

Really enjoyed this. As a wedding videographer that makes "6 figs" a year it was really funny hearing how easily people think it is to make 15-20k per wedding.

Fun video man! - here in Australia, my business does on average 100 weddings a year, and average spend is 2.5k but can be as high as 4k (AUD). If you're willing to work hard at your craft and at building your business, good money can be made. Its kept me and my family afloat for 15yrs now.

Hey! I can't promise that to anyone. There are a ton of variables, so it'll take some self-awareness and a lot of due diligence & follow through on your part if you're going to make it happen based on the hours info I share within The Classroom. The way I see it, if you're worried about the investment piece, you can easily make your money back on the purchase by booking 1-2 extra weddings a year more than you do now.

People are wrong because they didn't factor out the high expenses like gear, insurance, marketing, subscriptions, contractors, travel, and the double social secirity/Medicare tax. This is all without health benefits. These people are thinking gross revenue but not income.

I wish , after tax I keep 60%

@@EricFloberg facts I have an accountant, but I’m barely starting off as my full time so I’m trying real hard to hit 6 figures next year , but just know service tax and paying people to help me shoot, starts adding up

People in America are so lucky because there are so many dumb people actually wasting several thousand bucks on something like that. Here in Germany noone would ever pay more than 500 bucks.
