the TRUE SAVIOUR is JESUS CHRIST. HE has the power to save someone from the chains of sin, from spending eternity in hell, but you have to sincerely repent (ask forgiveness) for the wrongdoing in your life and for breaking the commandments of the Almighty God, and commit your life to follow Jesus in everything wholeheartedly. Humans are spiritual beings, meaning they have a spirit which is inside their physical body, and when the person dies, their spirit leaves their body and that person either goes to Heaven or Hell, and my question to you is: If Jesus returns this day, where are you going to spend eternity? It doesn't matter your "assets", properties, position, etc. The true successful and rich person is the one with Jesus occupying their heart. This is not religion or telling you to go to a local church, it's about a genuine connection and relationship with right standing before your Creator.

I hold seven figures liquid and bank with several banks. Chase primarily. But I also have cash accounts with Amex (high yield savings and checking), Citi (high yield savings), capital one (high yield savings, fidelity (money market) and vanguard (money market). Most millionaires do not keep all their cash in one bank, they keep multiple accounts to ensure if a bank goes under they don’t lose everything and also to ensure each account is covered by the provided FDIC Insurance up to $250k. I would much prefer the cash be in more real estate or markets, but it makes sense to be patient right now, plus HY savings accounts are paying 5%, and with the amount of cash I have that’s enough passive income to paying my base costs of living. I do also own some real estate that has equity and cash flows as well.

I'm more concerned on the max amount that banks insure up to. Last time I checked, Wells Fargo, and I believe BofA, insure only up to $200,000 (or is it $250,000), so then if something bad happens, market crash, banks going down, etc...the $10MIL you deposited is simply worth, ONLY $250,000. I'd love to pick that out of Millionaires' brains. Millionaires wouldn't just pick one, or even 2 banks, as well. I've spoken to a Millionaire visiting here in Las Vegas and he said that he didn't work so many years to be in the Millionaire Club, only to blow it all away by picking just one bank. You should do a video on banks that Millionaires use and focus on the financial benefits of why. That would be an epic video Bro.

The actual answer is that they don't keep much in "cash" or bank deposits. They keep their wealth in accounts that hold marketable securities (stocks, bonds, commercial paper, etc.). These accounts and the assets in the accounts are not bank deposits. If the Bank fails the assets in these accounts are not impacted in any way.

I once read a book called "The Millionaire Next Door", and all the millionaires they examined all had the same things in common, they looked liked normal people. Nothing flashy, they don't own a lot of expensive stuff unless it makes them money. And lot of them made less than 100k when the book was written. That proves that anyone can become a millionaire, regardless of income. Love what you do, control lifestyle creep and live within your means, invest in things that make you money, and learn. Most of the dudes interviewed here, may have had a degree, but went out and learned it on their own.

I Work For a bank (never thought I'd be in finance). All banks have pros and cons. Personal accounts vs business accounts have different offerings. I think it is important to understand what you need from a bank to know how they serve you. Do at least a little bit of research in it before choosing a bank or thinking of switching. They're all limited to an extent by various federal regulators and no accounts in the US are federally insured beyond $250k per depositer, so if you have lots of cash probably best to spread it across various banks and also put it into various assets

First of all, the major banks aren't going anywhere. Unlike potentially undercapitalized regional banks or credit unions. Plus, if you have that amount of capital, the bank will offer investment advisory services that can allow you to buy CD's in various other banks (all under the FDIC limit) and T-bills/T-notes but managed centrally. For the rest of us, Fidelity, Charles Schwab, other major brokerages do the same thing. So there are multiple strategies that can be used to manage/limit exposure. And these aren't even any of the sophisticated strategies that a wealth management firm can offer these folks,

If you travel for business or pleasure, have a bank that has international branches. If anything goes wrong, you can walk into it's overseas branch. Also carry duplicate credit and banking cards. And duplicate passports. U.S. allows citizens to have 2 duplicate passports. Also, setup Apple pay on your phone as it is accepted internationally. Setup an online money exchange that allows you to send money to yourself you can pickup at a bank by just showing ID. Make a fake wallet when traveling to give to robbers if that ever happens. setup a PIN on your mobile phone account so no one can SIM SWIPE you if they steal your info.
