He said he was doing it wrong for years and messed up his vocal cords so bad that it almost required surgery and ever since he's just been too scared to do that style again. Matt Heafy and M Shadows both tore their cords and had surgery but treated their vocals as the muscles they are and worked them out which has aloud them to scream again. Corey Taylor who is known for screaming the wrong way lost his scream from drinking and smoking but since he's quit both he's gotten it back. Matthew Tuck from Bullet same thing. The overdrawn long point I'm making is I think with Danny it's him not wanting to admit it's because of his own actions causing it and is blaming it on some potential bs. There's countless examples of vocalists out there that due more brutal vocals and have been doing it for many many years with zero issues so Danny can't say he's been doing it wrong. Just my imo and some things I've gathered here and there.

It's sad to see Danny need backing vocals to do scream. His presence on stage seems to be without any will.

They haven’t done a good live since the second show of the reckless and relentless tour. Danny is just a face; he doesn’t even sing. He just does a bad lip sync and it almost seems live cause his studio recordings are that bad.

@@scottskinner577 Obscure and niche... lol. There's screaming in a lot of radio rock too. What made Danny good was his combination of cleans and screams. On top of that, Ben and the rest of the band had real talent and a music label to back them financially and musically. People talk about it because their 1st 3 albums involved a lot of very aggressive music and intense screaming. Even their 4th, with Denis. That's how they became popular in the scene. That's how they made a name for themselves. How you don't understand why people talk about it says more about your intelligence than it does anything else. It's very obvious as to why it's talked about.

I love these guys enough that even with one old song in the playlist and no Ben I’d still lose my mind when the first riffs of the Final Episode played. 😞

Paul surprised me. Not bad for a first time. He saved the concert a lot. I think Danny's only mistake was making him second to the screams, he should have left him alone. But the concert was salvageable and enjoyable! Al final el público no se está quejando y lo disfruta. His concert in Mexico a few months ago was incredible!! One of the best I've seen in AA, I really enjoyed it.🤘🏼

Tbm curtia mais o som antigo dos caras mais a verdade que o tempo passou,eles evoluíram musicalmente falando, Dennis teve todo aquele problema na voz(que todos sabem) e mesmo assim continuou e aprimorou sua técnica vocal,que para mim soa melhor que antes. Aparentemente ele esta preservando sua voz,ate pq ele nao é mais nenhum jovem,e um futuro problema para curar seria bem difícil. É isso galera,as coisa mudaram.

Holy shit. I haven't listened to these guys in almost a decade and recently got into their old albums again for nostalgia's sake and decided to see what they sound like in 2023. Skipped to them playing The Final Episode and just wow, I don't think I've seen a band butcher their own song so bad in my life. Like those vocals were just objectively awful it sounds like Danny is battling throat cancer. Then I skipped to Someone, Somewhere and it wasn't much better. I think Danny could really use some time off to figure out what on earth has gone wrong here

La banda suena impresionante. El corista/guitarrista mis respetos. Se lleva la presentación, rescató todas las partes fundamentales de las canciones. Danny está mas enfocado en su técnica al cantar, no se si es por alguna lesión, o tal vez le es difícil seguir cantando guturales o screams desde el 2008 hasta la casi el 2024. Su técnica, su cambió de voz y su preferencia de género musical al cantar influye mucho. Aún así es de mis cantantes favoritos, un pinche rockstar.

@Denis Kasperovich my point is that it just feels extremely distracting and as if they didnt really try to find someone who could at least voice match Dannys screams in the slightest. His screams arent bad they just dont feel right for the songs. They feel more like deathcore type vocals youd hear from most modern day bands than some old school metalcore. I'm not trying to hate on the guy, its just that it doesnt feel like it fits

i was there, i was a big fan of the first 2 albums and remained a fan since. as it slowly evolved into a more mature sound. AA's live performance where amazing when they where younger, Danny was litteraly screaming at the top of his lungs at every live concert and the screams where insane. making the band so big and popular for its insane intense screaming. i was there and i was happy to see them live.. but it was quite dissapointing and underwhelming in a way too.. Danny litteraly wrecked his voice from screaming. and he had torn vocal cords from all the screaming he used to do. he even had surgery and was told to take it easy. and i never liked it when Denis got in the band. and was glad he left and Danny got back. but only if Danny would make songs like the first 3 albums. i like their newer stuff too. but its not what it used to be. and i'm kinda jealous to the people that got to see AA live when they where at its peak. the performance didnt stop me from having fun. but they could have find a better person to do screams. danny's screams where friggin insane. and this guy is just so fucking meh. so Danny probably agrees on that.. i wish AA would focus on only releasing albums and not on live shows. so they can release heavier stuff like it used to and don't have to worry about Danny having to scream all the time during a live perfromance even tho it was a bit of a dissapointment. AA will remain my favourite band of all time. i knew them from when i was a young teenager. and they influenced me into getting into more metal bands. as the shy teenager i used to be and listen to their songs.. the band became so nostalgic to me. so i find it difficult to talk bad about them. especially if this band got me into more bands.

Danny's performance is just so bad the band just has him for his name. The band says its that he cant do the vocals anymore because its painful which is clearly bs when you look at people like Ollie Sykes. But Danny always makes it clear on his streams that he can do it and just doesnt want to anymore but the band is always covering that up. They dont want us to know that they are just letting danny be the ringleader. I think bad blood was the biggest showcase of the band having a totally different creative direction than Danny

I don't know who the new boy is covering Ben, but I think he rescued the show completely. He has done more than Dennis, and the one that Danni on his return after having his tantrum. I would consider joining the band not as a support, but as a full member of the band.

Apparently he had to skip a few tour dates to help his family move back to the U.K.

geezzusssss!!! Danny is getting worse and worse. studio sounds amazing!! live its like hes just trying to get through the show. Ive seen multiple videos and his voice cracks alot.. Now that got someone to scream for him??? Something has to have happened. I know hes blown his voice out a couple times but dam..

I think I saw probably one of the last great AA shows (tour with Shinedown and Godsmack promoting the self-titled album). It was great. Vocals were all top notch. Was LOUD. And this crowd was just 😴.

Best tour was the 10 years of summerian tour with dannys come back. Dude was screaming a lot and singing was on top. Its all downhill since then. Check it out on youtube

In 2013 warptour they was killing that shit. It's a bummer cuz I always wanted to kinda see them after all those years. To relive those times but Danny just dnt got the passion.

I saw the return of Danny show and his screams were on point! Dear Insanity was beast. I was expecting a revival of the good ol AA and this hurts me so bad as an OG fan

The last good thing AA put out was The Black. Denis absolutely killed it on that album. Danny sounds like a country man ready to croak.
