This song was one of my personal favorites off the black album.. got me through depression, suicidal thoughts, and a lot of s#it. Lost the girl I was with for 4 years, went to Basic training for the Army, and I still fought my demons. But Here I Am still. Now happily married, not looking back, and embracing the new future I have with my loving wife. Thank you Denis and the boys for giving me a song to listen to when it got rough in my mind, I love y’all.

Blood Rain Slicer it’s more than okay to evolve and not scream, bring me to the horizon did a phenomenal job with amo in creating an amazing atmosphere with meaningful lyrics. AA however, sounds uninspired with lyrics that just sound....juvenile. Plus the mixing on the new stuff is some absolute trash.

I used to like Danny. But I don't know what happened. Before when Danny first left, I didn't want anyone else to replace him. But Denis has grown on me, I feel he fits better in AA and his vocals are way better. Before, I would've chosen Danny over anybody. But now that Danny may be returning, I'm actually choosing Denis. I prefer Danny's cleans. I think he's the better vocalist on all fronts. But everyone has their own opinion on that one. Although Danny is the original voice of Asking so technically Denis was replacing Danny's cleans and now Danny is restoring the AA sound. But that's just my view on it

yes they are both awesome true that. the new guy has good highs, good lows and fabulous cleans and thats his best suit of his voice, while the origal one has awesome range of voice in both highs and lows and good in cleans. tho the new guy has better cleans BUT both are awesome thats the fact. respect, peace!!!!

as a long time listener (since middle school) early 2010s, i listened to most of their stuff including their early EP before stand up and scream, reckless and relentless, from death to destiny, the black and especially this particular song is one of their best creation. Now im a 26 years old adult and this album is really close to my heart.

It has been years of this song and it never goes old. Definitely, one of the best tracks ever and one of their best albums too🧡

This song and whole album has helped me through my darkest depression. I relate to this so much and I wouldn't still be here if it weren't for Dennis and Asking. At a time where I felt so misunderstood and betrayed, this band was there for me and I had someone who understood what I was going through. Thank you all so much. God bless you. for those who complain that Danny is no longer in the band and there new leader is is denis. GET THE FUCK OVER IT. Danny left, and that's that. they chose Denis for a good reason. and it's probably because they connect well with him. otherwise, he wouldn't have been in the band in the first place. if you decide that you are not a fan of asking alexandria anymore because of denis. good for you. we have less whiney ungrateful fans.

Things happen. I try to be open-minded about this. There are many bands I like I’d love to see in the original line up, or get back together, but it’s good to be open-minded about things. If Danny wants to do something different, good luck to him!

Yeah many. I was fan of Denis due to his work with Make Me Famous and Down & Dirty and since he was signed to Sumerian he was the perfect fit when Danny left. A lot of things changed over the years it seems ....

+New screamerguy No your not it's ok, my mistake lol I honestly thought they were classified as metalcore though from what I have heard. To be really honest, when it comes to bands like Asking Alexandria I thought they were would be under the same genre which is Metalcore. I'm still trying to get the hang of all this by the way lol

+gamonmiguel05 i mean yeah, they're a metalcore band, but as far as deathcore and metalcore, those are like their own separated genre of music, mainly because it branched out a lot in terms of sound to be classified as metal or hardcore :)
