Ask the MD: Five Ways to Invite Your Best Sleep with Parkinson's

A good night’s sleep is the foundation for everything we do, but for many people, especially those who live with Parkinson’s disease (PD), good sleep is often elusive. The problem is, sleeping well has an impact on life, and life with Parkinson’s. It can help ease symptoms, as well as encourage other healthy behaviors, like exercising and eating well, that can help manage the disease.
In this video, Rachel Dolhun, MD, DipABLM, movement disorder specialist, lifestyle medicine physician and senior vice president of medical communications at The Michael J. Fox Foundation (MJFF), shares five ways to invite better sleep into your life.
The "Ask the MD" series is intended as an educational resource for people with Parkinson's and their loved ones. Please consult with your personal healthcare provider to address individual medical questions.
The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research is dedicated to finding a cure for Parkinson's disease through an aggressively funded research agenda and to ensuring the development of improved therapies for those living with Parkinson's today. www.michaeljfox.org
