April 7, 2024 Mr. Hills came to our small, Northern California town that dates to the 1849 Gold Rush. He played to a crowd of about 200 an amazing assortment of music. He returned to the console for a grand Encore tune or two. Following that he responded to the group that was chanting More, More and he did this time with and amazing rendition of Tiger Rag all on an organ that he saw two days before ! To Mr. Hills, Thanks so much for the concert and signing one of the organ pipes that I am building ! And thanks to to Walt Strony who made it all happen !

Great stuff from Richard, what else would you expect. But what I wasn't expecting was the armchair and cushion. I have the exact same right next to me - spooky! :)

I feel humbled by Richard's kind comments at 26:29 - I nearly fell off my chair! Then again, RH visiting Australia was a major theatre organ event in Australia in 2014. My following of his music over years was the perfect reason to ensure he had an instrument that coped with all genres of the music he performs.

As always Richard you have some wonderful advice and insight in to the world of the cinema organ. I think all these interviews are of great value to all lovers of the cinema organ, long may they continue. As Richard paid tribute to Gerald Shaw and played his composition "After the Movie" Richard explained it's origin so I have added the original 70mm 6 track recording of Gerald Shaw playing "After the Movie" on the Compton of the Odeon Leicester Sq on youtube, somewhere!

One of the highlights of the ATOS convention in Pasadena.was the lecture that you and Simon gave at the hotel meeting room. It turned from lecture to laugh riot as the two of you demonstrated “How to improve your skills on the keyboard”. By the way, who is Beverly?

Not really bothered with how many recordings he has put out but why is it so impossible to get his past recordings on iTunes or Spotify where more people can have access to them besides organ people?

Because iTunes and Spotify don't make any money.
