If you ask me, On any given day, a talk on Advaita Vedanta is much much more interesting and worth attending than attending a cricket match on TV. A talk on Non-Duality never bores me. It is always interesting for me. Always will be.

The clarity that flows from the talk of the Swami is something that I rarely find elsewhere. I really consider myself very fortunate to have him around us.

Hope to run into Swamiji someday... at an airport, a railway station, or on the streets somewhere... I will throw myself at his feet for a full Sashtanga Namaskar. His words and his videos... just can't express my gratitude enough for his guidance in my own spiritual quest.

36:25 I'm a young person in Colombia, where we have a tendency to pretend substances and experiences are the path to spirituality. Listening to you sharing with us the accurate and wise lesson about the power and importance of simple Acts as the path to enlightenment is truly revealing and necessary in my culture. @@notavailable708 Agree with you :) Well, on the other hand , this is the Dangerous aspect of Advaita. We just do not care about the misery in this world and we just brush it off calling it maya ! Yes, this is all a dream. But, instead of having a BAd dream, why not have a Good dream ? ! We need to work hard to make it a good dream , bringing people out of MISERY We need to have a Missionary Zeal to lift the world out of Misery.

@@rohansaxena5606 Agree with you here, but I would argue that unless you yourself have clarity and realisation within, the missionary zeal to make the world a better place according to your own perspective does more harm than good. True action comes from realization, and spiritual enquiry is not a lack of action, it's utmost inner action, or rather, a non-action. Ridding yourself of your own misery doesn't just remove your misery, it ensures that you don't spread it across to everyone around you :-)

@@rohansaxena5606 There's no difference between lifting yourself and lifting the world. One cannot do one without the other. So yeah, I agree, if someone claims to better himself apart from bettering the world, or if someone claims to better the world apart from bettering himself, it's no betterment at all. Both happen together like you said, which is actually the basic principle of Non-Duality

I love 💗 listening to Swamiji. Advaita Vedanta is definitely for me. I do believe, however, that meditation is something we can practice every day; Jñana Yoga would be easier if we could focus on one mental viewpoint of reality, instead of accumulating much knowledge. If one lives in an ashram, Jñana Yoga becomes practical. I want Swamiji to give me one way I should look at the World, and let it sink in every day. ♥️

Self is not a doer of action,when understand everything is you,there is material and spiritual when there is senses .when you realise that your are the self(everything is you) nothing more to be desired,known.Then action ends,you realise real nature of yourself.when you have to be man,the world appears.But self realised person will be witness,not a doer of action,if you want always to be in self,you can't be in this physical body or physical world.First,we have to be witness,and to be witness always.Then absolute realition comes,there won't be physical world.self and self alone exists 🙏

"All things in me & I am none of them" as conscious beings we perceive the world by our conditioning within our conscious realm.we actually experience the world within us.Not knowing or knowing very well that I am none of that and with no center ,I am every where it's just that this body & mind is a tool a medium of expression & creation and it is true to our nature that I (Ego) indulge in the play of Maya and in that indulgence we experience karma and it's beliefs, it's output and we get so caught up with life,we get attached to our ideals and bear it's consequences .I am none of that, it is the ego that has assumed itself as the experiencer and the doer.

In order for love to flow there must be duality, that is why God created the many, love is the dynamism of the silent absolute..FWIW.

Having been around the tail end of counterculture I can say that I don't know one person whose life was spiritually enhanced by psychedelics . A one off experience may have some use but it may also be disastrous - someone I knew actually thought they could fly and obviously couldn't , and have consequently been confined to a wheelchair for 50 years following a broken neck . However , because of politics , research into psychedelics has been suppressed which is sad because they may have value in the therapeutic setting . Sri Ramana Maharshi was vocally against marijuana use , unlike many ' gurus ' and ' sects ' in India 🕉️

Neither Batsmen nor Bowlers nor fielders. It's that one consciousness appearing as name and form. Yet by knowing everything audiences are still drawn towards the void match rather than Vedanta. 😔 .
